Super simple Christmas cards

Hi there, it’s Monday and I’ve got two cards to share with you today.  I’ve also got a video on my YouTube channel. This is the 7th card video in my Christmas card series over on YouTube.

I had filmed these cards a few days ago but I’m glad I did.  It made for a quick edit and voice over.   We had a busy weekend! My husband and I sent the kids to the grandparents house for a few hours on Saturday. So we could rearrange the rooms in our basement suite.   We moved both our boys into the master bedroom to create a bedroom/ play room for them.  We moved our bed into the smaller room where our oldest previously slept. Our king size bed just fit!    Then the room our youngest son was sleeping in became a craft room/office.  It’s only been a few days but we are getting things back to normal and it’s been great so far. It’s definitely a better use of space.  Our rooms are more family friendly and I love it.  The kids are adjusting well too.

Onto the cards I used the Christmas Hot Buy paper pad from Micheal’s Recollections called “Fireside”.  I chose a bunch of the papers and cut them for my cards. I also got two cards bases ready.  The card stock for the card bases is also from Micheal’s Recollections card stock.  Then it was time to adhere my two cards together.  I used the scotch advanced tape glider and that finished up my cards. Super fast and simple.  These would be a great way to do a last minute Christmas card for your holiday needs.

Thank you so much for coming by today.  I’d love to hear from you.  Leave me a comment! Let me know if you want me to do a craft room tour video when I get everything shop shape.

Get Kids Crafty May Blog Hop Gardening theme

It's that time of month again where I share a fun crafty project that I made with my kiddo Riley for Get Kids Crafty. Hello and thank you for joining us for the May Get Kids Crafty! blog hop! We are thrilled to have you! Our theme this month is gardening and our kids have created some AMAZING projects to share with you! We had a lot of fun creating our project this month. We made a bumble bee mobile.  Both my kids love the song bringing home my baby bumble bee. Especially my youngest Liam, it seems to usually calm him down when he's upset.  So we created this fun project to the theme of the song.      First we had to die cut our bees, Here is Riley playing with an already cut bee in the Big Shot machine.      Here is Riley turning the handle on the Big Shot machine to cut out all our bees. We had to do 16 in total one for the front and back as you will see in a little bit. Here is what the finished bee looks like and the die cut that we used from
