I used IG4, BG4, BG6 and EB5 for the fireplace. For the fire I used CT3, CR10, CR11 and again EB5. Then I cut down the card base from Michael's Recollections Card stock.  The wood grain patterned paper is a pack of paper I picked up at Dollar Tree. I adhered that to the card base using the

Get Kids Crafty December Blog Hop "Winter"

Hello Everyone! Today I've got another Get Kids Crafty Blog Hop for you. This month's theme is winter.   I saw this snow globe project floating around the internet and I wanted to try it. It's just so fun and we had so much fun making it too.  Before I tell you how we made this cute project, don't forget to hop along and see what the other families did with their kids.  Also tag Get Kids crafty on Instagram using hashtag #getkidscrafty if you are inspired by these projects or whenever you're crafty with your kids. We love seeing all your crafting with kids projects. Also check out the facebook group too for ideas. Alright onto the project. So it was quite simple to make. You need a laminating sheet and you open it up and draw a circle for your snow globe. We used a cottage cheese lid to get a perfect circle and we used a black permenent marker to trace our circle. Christmas Blessings

Hey there!  It's Friday and I've got a new Christmas card to share with you today. It's a part of my Christmas card series on my YouTube channel.   This is the 8th Christmas card in my Christmas card series. I will be posting every Monday and Friday counting down too Christmas. This week felt really long to me, in a good way. In my last blog post and video I talked about how my husband and I switched the rooms around in our place. So we have all been adjusting to that and I've been organizing all the little things.  It's been nice to get things back in order and just use our space better.  Though it's a lot of work to figure out the best way to organize stuff. I've been able to organize my new crafting room a bit, still have some work to do. Though I am very excited to see how it turns out. Already we are enjoying how we rearranged everything. It's easier to maintain, organize and just a better use of space. Alright onto the card First I used my Bi

Super simple Christmas cards

Hi there, it’s Monday and I’ve got two cards to share with you today.  I’ve also got a video on my YouTube channel. This is the 7th card video in my Christmas card series over on YouTube.   I had filmed these cards a few days ago but I’m glad I did.  It made for a quick edit and voice over.   We had a busy weekend! My husband and I sent the kids to the grandparents house for a few hours on Saturday. So we could rearrange the rooms in our basement suite.   We moved both our boys into the master bedroom to create a bedroom/ play room for them.  We moved our bed into the smaller room where our oldest previously slept. Our king size bed just fit!    Then the room our youngest son was sleeping in became a craft room/office.  It’s only been a few days but we are getting things back to normal and it’s been great so far. It’s definitely a better use of space.  Our rooms are more family friendly and I love it.  The kids are adjusting well too.  Onto the cards I used the Christmas Hot
