Happy Birthday with Baby Minnie Mouse (1st Birthday)

This is a Birthday card I made for a friend's little girl who just turned 1.  I asked her mom what some of her daughter's favorite things were so I could make the perfect card for her birthday. She told me she liked Minnie Mouse and the color blue.   I found this image of baby Minnie Mouse in google images and it was the perfect image especially since it had the one on it.  To tie in the blue I added the blue half pearls that I got at walmart and the blue twine.  I also wanted to make this card sparkle so I used my wink of stella clear pen to add glitter over the image.   The sentiment is a 1.50 stamp from Micheal's and I colored the Happy Birthday part in with the black wink of stella pen to add even more sparkle.  Then for the card base I used the cream color from Micheal's cardstock and rounded the corners and that finished it off. I hope you like this card, I had a lot of fun making it.  I'd love for you to comment and tell me what you think.

Happy Happy Birthday!

Hello there it's Monday! Another week is upon us and to start off the week I've got a card for the people who use and love tools in your life.  This would be a great card for the men in your life though this could totally work for a lady too if they like tools.    My Favorite Things "Tool Time" Stamp Set                                                                                                                                                                    Cup Sequins B&W Classic Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a great week!

Happy Birthday!

Hello this is a simple Happy Birthday card I made.  I really like how it turned out.   I have so much twine and always forget to use it but this time I remembered to add some to finish off the card. I can't remember exactly where I got my twine either at dollar stores or Home Sense.  Though the doodlebug twine is awesome and would do the same job.  Doodlebug Lilac Twine

Elegant Happy Birthday!

It's Wednesday and I've got a card to share with you.   I recently made this elegant birthday card using the doily embossing folder,  This was a very simple card to make but yet it looks so detailed and fancy.

Just 3 more Mother's Day cards

I know this special event of Mother's Day has come to an end but I wanted to share three more cards I made for Mother's Day.  I promise no more of these cards till next year.   The first card I used two different embossing folders to create this dual embossed look. This card was actually really simple to make. This was the card I gave my mom! This second card I used the butterfly embossing folder and inked it up using black ink to create a shiliouette look.  I'm happy with how it turned out! This card was for my Mother in Law. This last card I've got to share with you is probally my favorite and was the most fun to make.  I added the flowers into the girls komoto by using a $1.50 stamp from Micheal's and let me tell you it was not easy to line it all up to get this look but I got it to look just right in the end.  To finish it off I added the leafy embossed background and I love it.  This card was for my Sister in Law who is from Japan!

Even More Mother's Day cards!

I've got 2 more Mother's Day cards to share with you in this blog post.  I really like how these two cards turned out.  I used digital stamps from The Stamping Boutique for these.  I am currently on The Stamping Boutique Design team. Multitask Girl Momma & Baby

More Mother's Day cards!

I'm Back again with some more Mother's Day cards.  I'll have at least 3 posts for you today!  I hope all the Mother's out there are having a good day!  I also hope you enjoy seeing these cards that I've made and that they inspire you to create.

Happy Mother's Day!

Today is Mother's Day! Here are two recent Mother's Day cards that I made for the spring craft fair I just did. I will be posting a few different Mother's Day cards today I just don't want to post them all in the same blog post as that may get a bit overwhelming. I'd just like to say Happy Mother's Day to all the Mother's out there.  Have a great day and don't forget to wish all the Mother's you know a Happy Mother's Day.  Being a mom is not easy but it's worth it! Mother's need your support and encouragement though so today is a day you can do something extra special and bring a smile to their face!

Thank you cards!

Hello Hope you're enjoying your weekend!  Here are two recent thank you cards I made.  I used several different embossing folders to make these cards.  I need to play around and make more different thank you cards. Thank you for stopping by!

Sympathy cards

Hello there, happy Thursday! In the past when I sell at craft fairs I've often been asked if I have any sympathy cards. I usually don't make these very often but for my recent craft fair I made a few just in case. Obviously these are not my favourite cards to make as they are usually given for a sad occasion but if they can bring joy and a smile to someone who needs it then I am happy to be able to supply a card for this purpose.  Besides loving to create that's my goal in card making bringing joy and making people smile. I really like how this card turned out.  I love how the swing actually moves.

Happy birthday tweets

Hello! Here are two more birthday cards that I recently made. I embossed the design onto some white sparkly paper from micheals and then added the colour with my Copic markers.  Then I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment and embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I really like how these cards turned out. I hope you like these cards too!
