MFT Wednesday Stamp Club sketch #182

Well hello there, it's Monday and I've got a new card to show you all. I'm using this week's MFT "My Favourite Things" Wednesday Stamp Club sketch.  I finally was able to order a bunch more MFT stamps . I love the Pure Innocence stamp line and so I have a few more to play around with now, so stay tuned for more cards with this and other adorable and cute stamps. The Sketch: My Card: I switched the layout of the card a bit but I think it turned out pretty good and pretty close to the original sketch. I used the Pumpkin Patch Girl Pure Innocence stamp.  Other challenges I am entering this into are: Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge "Anything goes"

The Stamping Boutique/Red, White & Blue challenge

Hello Hello It's friday again and it's my time to share with you another challenge from The Stamping Boutique.  This week's theme is make a red, white and blue themed card.  I used the image  Cardinal from the stamping boutique and coloured it with my copic markers.   For the red and blue background, I used a spray art gun to get an airbrush effect.  It's a kids air brush and it only came with three colours and I'm having a hard time tracking down more colours. It was really cheap and I thought hey let's try this so perhaps I'll use it just till it runs out.  I love the airbrush look but don't want to pay tons for it.  The Sentiment "Don't let life ruffle your feathers" is from my stash I'm not sure what company it's from.  I got them a long time ago and at that time I didn't keep track of the company and the original packaging is gone.  To finish of the card I grabbed some red, white and blue sequins and tada

Dream, Believe, Succeed

Hello, I made this card awhile ago now. Finally getting it up on the blog.  I've been playing around a lot with water colours lately and this is just one of the cards.  I have a few more coming soon.  I used clear ink, then used clear embossing powder and used water colour to go over it and it's like magic when the water colour resists the embossed area.   When I made this card I had no specific theme in mind.  This could be any sort of encouragement card or even a graduation card.

Father's Day Cardinal

Here is another Father's Day I created for this year. The bird is a digital stamp from The Stamping Boutique .  The image is called  Cardinal  .   I used a wobble for the card so the bird wobbles and moves.  As you can see in the images below.

Just swinging by to say "Happy Father's Day"

Here is another card I created with the Spellbinders Shapabilities Just Swingin' die.  It comes with a standard swing and also the tire swing which you saw in the previous post.   This one I made into a Father's Day card.  There is just so many possibilities with this die cut and I am excited to make more cards with it in the future.  I really love the colours on this card too.   This card also moves by the help of baker's twine. check out the video below to see this card in action.

Swinging by saying "Happy Birthday"

Here is a very fun and interactive card I'm excited to share with you!  I recently picked up the Just Swingin' Spellbinders Shapabilities die.  I used baker's twine to make the swing actually move, it's just too fun.   I love this so cute for a Birthday card, just swinging by to say Happy Birthday, Have a swinging good day! Check out the video below to see this card in action.

Simon Says You gotta have friends #3

I've got another card to share with you tonight. I went crazy with polka dots.  I just found some cool polka dotted fabric tape at the dollar store that I wanted to try out. (That's the blue polka dotted strip you see on the card) Loving it, I got a few more colours too.  I will also be entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge called "Simon Says You gotta have friend" This card is a great way to tell a friend that they are sweet or just to say thank you.  This very sweet girl and sentiment is from Pink Cat Studio and its the Lily baked a pie stamp set.

Simon Says You gotta have friends #2

I'm loving this new embossing folder I got featuring the world. It's so cool! I sponged on some ink to create the look and added the sentiment with two different stamps.  It's a fun way of telling a friend they mean the world to you.  I'll also be participating in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge with this card too.  The challenge is called "Simon Says You gotta have friends"

Simon Says "You gotta have friends" #1

MFT Wednesday Card Sketch #181

RAWR! Hello there, I've got this cute and rawr-tastic card to share with you today. I'm also participating in the "My Favourite Things" Wednesday Sketch Challenge. It's been awhile now since I've joined in the sketch but this week's just worked perfectly for a birthday card I needed to make.  Our friend's child is turning one this week and we will be heading to his B-day party soon.   The sketch: My Card: The inside of Card: Our friends have a Winnie The Pooh theme for their nursery so I thought it would be cute to include this inside and I also made a matching envelope with a stamp I have that says Pooh Mail.

Welcome Baby- Giraffe

A friend asked me to make a few baby cards to give to their friends. So I created two that look like this.    I had posted similar cards like this with a lion and a monkey in previous posts.  I really like the simplicity of these cards.   The giraffe stamp is coloured with copic markers and it is from INKADINKADO.  The embossed background is using the Cuttlebug spots and dots embossing folder.

Bon Voyage - Travel

Here is a card I made for a friend who will be doing some traveling in the near future.  I really like how this card turned out.  The image I used is from " The Stamping Boutique " and the image is called " Princess Jennifer Latte the Traveler ".   The sentiment says, Where ever you go becomes a part of you somehow.  I really like that saying and it's true. I have experienced that in my own life for sure.  I'm not sure of the company that the sentiment stamp came from it's from a bigger set of travel stamps.  I also coloured the image with my copic markers.
