The Stamping Boutique Recipe card: Use a square, a circle and 2 patterned papers challenge

Hello there it's that time again on a friday where I share with you a challenge for the Stamping Boutique Design team.   This week's theme is to make a card or project using the ingredients of a square, a circle and 2 patterned papers.  This week I switched things up and actually made a project life page to showcase these ingredients.

I'm new to project life but so far I'm loving it. I'm not doing it the traditional weekly/daily way but more so as a small event scrapbook.  Maybe in the future I'll do it more weekly but I like how I'm using it now.  So for this layout I did a page about cake pops since I like to make them and I'd taken a few pictures that I didn't just want to sit on my phone or computer.

The  Stamping Boutique Digital image I used was Recipe card with Space on Left. The project life cards/patterned paper featured in this layout is from the Dear Lizzy Editon by Beck Higgins. Then the cake pop patterned paper is a free printable from…

The Stamping Boutique July New Release

Hello There The Stamping Boutique has another great release this month with 7 new images.   Every month on the 3rd Saturday there will be a reveal of some great new digital stamps for you all to see and get your hands on yourself.
I really love this month's new images and had tons of fun creating with them. I look forward to creating with them in the future again too.
I made a card with all 7 images which are posted below.  Don't forget to hop on over to the challenge blog where you will find details on the new release and more great projects from the design team.

Simon Says "Let's Be Clear"

I've got one more card to share with you tonight.  Next week's Wednesday Simon Say Stamp Challenge is Let's Be Clear. So you're suppose to use any clear element on your card so acetate, vellum, glossy accents, translucent embossing paste, clear plastic, etc.
As you can see I used velum. I experimented with this card, I've never tried a technique like this before. It's a flat card it doesn't stand up on it's own.  I used MFT's Graduation Die-namics and used a small amount of glue tape on the velum and folded it over the edge to create the fold so it's still like a card, where you can write your message. I did the same with the bottom peice. And to finish it off I added some half pearls.

I'm really happy with how this card turned out. I also love when the ideas in your head actually work out and become a reality. Wahoo for experiments that work!!!

MFT Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch #184

Hey there, I've got a new card to share with you.  I created it for this week's MFT "My Favourite things" Wednesday Stamp Club Challenge.  This week it's sketch # 184
Here is the sketch:  My card:

I switched up the angles a bit from the sketch but I like how it turned out and it's still pretty close to the original sketch.  I used the Sizzix Letter Envelope embossing folder from the Mail set.  I really love this set of embossing folders and it works perfectly here.  The image is MFT's own Pure Innocence "Happy Mail" stamp.

The Stamping Boutique Challenge "Do some fussy cutting" on your creation

Hello it's Friday again and I've got another card for you featuring The Stamping Boutique digital images.  I'm on Team A so our challenge goes live every second week of the month, so twice a month for you to check out and participate.  This week's challenge is to some fussy cutting.  So get out your crafting supplies and be a little fussy with an image or element on your card and enter it on the TSB challenge blog for your chance to win some digital images. Finally here is my card.

I used The Stamping Boutique "Lattes for Two" image. The fussy cutting was done around this image. I also coloured the image with copic markers. The sentiments are from old $1.50 stamps from Michael's.
