Happy Birthday- Canucks Hockey

It's Monday and I've got a card to share with you today that was actual a custom order for someone who likes the Vancouver Canucks Hockey team.  It was a very simple card to make I just cut paper to make it look like a hockey jersey and printed off the Canucks logo.  Then I stamped the sentiment Happy Birthday to you! and colored it in using spectrum noir markers. Then I added a puck and skate sticker I had in my sticker collection to finish it off. Thanks for stopping by! Stay tuned I've been making a lot of cards and I'll be posting them soon. Happy crafting!!

Happy Birthday Water colour Series

Hello Happy Friday! To bring in the weekend I have four similar cards to share with you.  I created these four cards pretty quickly using different colours of water colours.  It's always so good to have Birthday cards handy. After I water coloued I sprayed it with some extra water and dabbed off the water to creat the water splotches effect. I think it looks fun and just finishes it off.  Once the water color was completely dry I stampd the Happy Birthday sentiment amd embossed it with clear embossing powder just to finish it off and make it pop.  Then for a final touch I added the lines of dimonds that I got from dollarama (It comes off all together I didn't place every single jewel that would of taken forever, hehe) For the cardbase I used some grey card stock I got at Micheal's.  Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful relaxing weekend. Also hope you get to have some crafty time on the weekend. I know I always like to ...

Happy Birthday with Baby Minnie Mouse (1st Birthday)

This is a Birthday card I made for a friend's little girl who just turned 1.  I asked her mom what some of her daughter's favorite things were so I could make the perfect card for her birthday. She told me she liked Minnie Mouse and the color blue.   I found this image of baby Minnie Mouse in google images and it was the perfect image especially since it had the one on it.  To tie in the blue I added the blue half pearls that I got at walmart and the blue twine.  I also wanted to make this card sparkle so I used my wink of stella clear pen to add glitter over the image.   The sentiment is a 1.50 stamp from Micheal's and I colored the Happy Birthday part in with the black wink of stella pen to add even more sparkle.  Then for the card base I used the cream color from Micheal's cardstock and rounded the corners and that finished it off. I hope you like this card, I had a lot of fun making it.  I'd love for you to comment and tell me what y...

Happy Birthday!

Hello this is a simple Happy Birthday card I made.  I really like how it turned out.   I have so much twine and always forget to use it but this time I remembered to add some to finish off the card. I can't remember exactly where I got my twine either at dollar stores or Home Sense.  Though the doodlebug twine is awesome and would do the same job.  Doodlebug Lilac Twine
