Lawn Fawn Big Thanks Critter Concert

Hello Everyone! I've got a card over on my YouTube channel today using the Lawn Fawn Critter Concert stamp set. This is the final card I made using this set for a raffle prize for a music recital last summer.

To start I went ahead and stamped a couch from The Unity Stamp Company/Beth Duff Designs Collab "Warmth of Home" .

I used Memento Tuxedo black ink to stamp this. I also went ahead and stamped some of the critters from the Lawn Fawn stamp set in the same ink. I colored the couch and critters with Spectrum Noir markers.

When stamping the couch I also used some clear tape to mask off the Christmas Tree & Reindeer from the Pillows so I could use this stamp for not just at Christmas. Make sure you remove the tape before you stamp your project. I used some tweezers to do so.

To create the background around the couch. I did go ahead and create a mask for the couch which I didn't show in the video and forgot to mention until now.  Then I was able to create some color on the wall and floor area around the couch. To do that I used Cracked Pistachio and Vintage Photo Distress oxide inks and blended them onto the card base.

Once the critters were all colored I fussy cut them out and used the Xyron Sticker Maker to adhere them to the scene.  For the sentiment I used Simon Says Stamp's really big stamp and die.  To cut out the thanks die I used the Sizzix Sidekick machine.  Then stamped "really big" from the stamp set once again in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

As a final touch I added some Nuvo drops in three different colors to the couch and pillows. The colors I used were English Mustard, Midnight Blue and Morning dew.

Get Kids Crafty May Blog Hop Gardening theme

It's that time of month again where I share a fun crafty project that I made with my kiddo Riley for Get Kids Crafty. Hello and thank you for joining us for the May Get Kids Crafty! blog hop! We are thrilled to have you! Our theme this month is gardening and our kids have created some AMAZING projects to share with you! We had a lot of fun creating our project this month. We made a bumble bee mobile.  Both my kids love the song bringing home my baby bumble bee. Especially my youngest Liam, it seems to usually calm him down when he's upset.  So we created this fun project to the theme of the song.      First we had to die cut our bees, Here is Riley playing with an already cut bee in the Big Shot machine.      Here is Riley turning the handle on the Big Shot machine to cut out all our bees. We had to do 16 in total one for the front and back as you will see in a little bit. Here is what the finished bee looks like and the die cut that we used from
