Lawn Fawn Christmas

Hello there! It's Friday and I have a new card to share with you in my Christmas Card Series.  That means there is another video over on my YouTube channel for you to check out too.  This is the 6th video in my Christmas Card Series over on my YouTube channel.  I hope you're following along and watching. If you liked the video after you watch it don't forget to give it a thumbs up and I'd love it if you subscribed.   I will be posting a new video every Monday and Friday leading up to Christmas.

Alright onto the details about the card. I used Lawn Fawn's Here we go a waddling stamp set. I stamped the super cute penguins in memento tuxedo black ink on Spectrum noir premium ultra smooth card stock.   Then I used my spectrum noir markers to color in the images.  I used IG6, IG2 (Cool greys), LV2, LV3 (Purples), DR1, CR10 (Reds), TB3 (Blues), BT7 (Turquoise), OR1 (Yellows), EB7, EB5 (Browns). I also used the copic colorless blender to fix a few things in my coloring.

For the Background I used a embossing folder from Micheal's Recollections. I picked it up this year so it might still be available. I used my big shot machine to emboss that.   Then I used Wilted Violet, Mermaid Lagoon and blueprint sketch distress inks with a ink blending tool to sponge and blend the embossed background.

I added a sentiment from the same stamp set with memento tuxedo black ink. I stamped "Hope your Christmas (jingle bell) rocks"

I cut my card base from Micheal's recollections white card stock and also trimmed down the embossed background to fit on the card base.  Then I was ready to adhere eveything together. I used elmer's dual tip glue pen to adhere the background panel to the cardbase. To adhere the penquins and strip of color I saved from when I cut down the background with the Xyron Sticker Maker.

Get Kids Crafty May Blog Hop Gardening theme

It's that time of month again where I share a fun crafty project that I made with my kiddo Riley for Get Kids Crafty. Hello and thank you for joining us for the May Get Kids Crafty! blog hop! We are thrilled to have you! Our theme this month is gardening and our kids have created some AMAZING projects to share with you! We had a lot of fun creating our project this month. We made a bumble bee mobile.  Both my kids love the song bringing home my baby bumble bee. Especially my youngest Liam, it seems to usually calm him down when he's upset.  So we created this fun project to the theme of the song.      First we had to die cut our bees, Here is Riley playing with an already cut bee in the Big Shot machine.      Here is Riley turning the handle on the Big Shot machine to cut out all our bees. We had to do 16 in total one for the front and back as you will see in a little bit. Here is what the finished bee looks like and the die cut that we used from
