Honey Bee Stamps- Christmas Coffee

Hello Hello, It's Friday!  There is only 4 more days till Christmas! Are you ready? I hope this card with video gives you some inspiration in the midst of your Christmas prep.  I've still got a few more presents to make, wish me luck.  The Christmas season  sneaked up on me and came to fast.

So of course there is a video over on my YouTube channel as a part of my Christmas Card Series. This is video number 10! There is one more video coming in this series on Monday, which is Christmas Eve. So stay tuned for that.

For this card I used the to go cup from Honey Bee Stamps "Coffee Break" stamp set.  I colored it with the spectrum noir markers DR5 (REDS), IG2 (Cool greys), EB8 (Brown), FS3 (Pale hues), DG3 (Greens).  I also used the copic colorless blender to blend out the grey on the to go cup.

Then I used the Sakura white jelly roll pen to add some white designs to the to go cup.

I cut down my card base with White card stock from Michael's Recollections card stock.  I also chose and cut a piece of scrapbook paper from the Hot Buy paper pad from Michael's Recollections paper called "Fireside".   At this point I was ready to adhere everything together.  I used the Scotch Advanced tape glider for the card stock and scrapbook paper.  To adhere the to go cup I ended up applying two layers of foam squares that I picked up at the dollar store to give it some extra depth and dimension.

Next it was time for the sentiment.  I used two different stamp sets for this. I used Lawn Fawn's Toboggan Together and Honey Bee Stamps Perfect blend stamp set.  I used Memento Tuxedo black ink to stamp both sentiments.  I quickly used Simon Says Stamp clear embossing powder over the ink and used the marvey heat tool to melt the embossing powder.   I first cut around the sentiment and then I was ready to adhere them. To do that I used the Xyron Sticker maker. As a final embellishment I added white half pearls just to finish off the card.

Thank you so much for coming by today.  Grab a coffee as you prep for Christmas in these last days.  Here is to lots of Christmas Cheer. I'll be back Monday for one more card/video in my Christmas card series.

Get Kids Crafty May Blog Hop Gardening theme

It's that time of month again where I share a fun crafty project that I made with my kiddo Riley for Get Kids Crafty. Hello and thank you for joining us for the May Get Kids Crafty! blog hop! We are thrilled to have you! Our theme this month is gardening and our kids have created some AMAZING projects to share with you! We had a lot of fun creating our project this month. We made a bumble bee mobile.  Both my kids love the song bringing home my baby bumble bee. Especially my youngest Liam, it seems to usually calm him down when he's upset.  So we created this fun project to the theme of the song.      First we had to die cut our bees, Here is Riley playing with an already cut bee in the Big Shot machine.      Here is Riley turning the handle on the Big Shot machine to cut out all our bees. We had to do 16 in total one for the front and back as you will see in a little bit. Here is what the finished bee looks like and the die cut that we used from
