Santa is on the way- Ephemorie Digital Designs

Hello I’ve got this fun card to share with you today.  This image is a digital printable from Ephemorie Digital Designs. It’s called Santa is on the way.  I was a guest designer for this company in the months of November and December and this is my last project for them.

All the info for their shop can be found below.

This was a super simple card to make. The black snowflake paper is from Michael’s Recollections Hot Buy paper pad “Fireside”

I prepared my card base which is white card stock from Micheal’s Recollections card stock.  The red stripe at the top is some foil cardboard I picked up at the dollar store awhile back.  I adhered this with the scrapbook paper to the card base using the scotch advanced tape glider.

After printing the image from the computer on some white card stock I cut it down and adhered it the card using the advanced tape glider.

For the sentiment I used the “Merry Christmas” from Lawn Fawn’s toboggan together stamp set.  I double embossed the sentiment using Michael's Recollections white embossing powder and some silver embossing powder I had in my stash. For the ink I used Simon Says Stamp clear embossing ink. I also used the anti static pouch to prepare the paper before applying the ink and the embossing powder.  To melt the embossing powder I used the marvy heat tool.  I also stamped and embossed it directly on the snowflake scrapbook paper.

Ahh there is only about 3-4 days till Christmas depending on how you look at it. Are you ready? Hopefully this card brings you some inspiration as you finish up your Christmas preparations.  This image reminds me of the Christmas movie “The Christmas Chronicles” on Netflix this year. It’s really good, you should check it out this Christmas.

Get Kids Crafty May Blog Hop Gardening theme

It's that time of month again where I share a fun crafty project that I made with my kiddo Riley for Get Kids Crafty. Hello and thank you for joining us for the May Get Kids Crafty! blog hop! We are thrilled to have you! Our theme this month is gardening and our kids have created some AMAZING projects to share with you! We had a lot of fun creating our project this month. We made a bumble bee mobile.  Both my kids love the song bringing home my baby bumble bee. Especially my youngest Liam, it seems to usually calm him down when he's upset.  So we created this fun project to the theme of the song.      First we had to die cut our bees, Here is Riley playing with an already cut bee in the Big Shot machine.      Here is Riley turning the handle on the Big Shot machine to cut out all our bees. We had to do 16 in total one for the front and back as you will see in a little bit. Here is what the finished bee looks like and the die cut that we used from
