Hello Bluebird Fall Friends

Hey there, I’ve got another Fall Card & video for you over on my YouTube channel today.  I’m super excited for this card and I love how it turned out.

I used Hello Bluebird Fall Friends Stamp Set.  I stamped them in memento tuxedo black ink and coloured them with pencil crayons.

For my sunset background I used Distress watercolour cardstock by Ranger. Then I used fossilized amber, spun sugar, wilted violet and Victorian velvet distress inks to create the sunset. To blend the colours together I used the mini ink blending tool.  Then I took a small spray bottle and sprayed it over the ink and used paper towel to just help it all blend together a bit more.

Then I used my Big Shot machine to cut the Lawn Fawn Leafy Tree landscape die. I used Kraft Cardstock from Micheal’s Recollections.

I also cut some grass from My Favorite Things  Grassy Edges Die-namics from Micheal’s Recollections green cardstock.

At this point it was time to adhere everything together. I adhered all my pieces to the cardbase with the Scotch Advanced Tape Glider.  Then to adhere the cute critters I used the Xyron sticker maker to make it quick and easy.

Then I was ready to stamp my sentiment which was also from the hello bluebird stamp set.  To stamp the sentiment I used Memento tuxedo black ink and used Simon Says Stamp clear embossing powder on it.  Then I used the Marvey heating tool to melt the embossing powder.

Lastly, I added some sequins from craft medley.  I’ve got a quick tip to adhere sequins here, run them through the Xyron sticker maker. It’s not the best method but if you want to add sequins quick and don’t have time to wait for them to dry this is great. If they get stuck just push them down with a pair of scissors.

And then last but not least I grabbed the wink of Stella clear brush marker to add some sparkle to the cute critters.

Get Kids Crafty May Blog Hop Gardening theme

It's that time of month again where I share a fun crafty project that I made with my kiddo Riley for Get Kids Crafty. Hello and thank you for joining us for the May Get Kids Crafty! blog hop! We are thrilled to have you! Our theme this month is gardening and our kids have created some AMAZING projects to share with you! We had a lot of fun creating our project this month. We made a bumble bee mobile.  Both my kids love the song bringing home my baby bumble bee. Especially my youngest Liam, it seems to usually calm him down when he's upset.  So we created this fun project to the theme of the song.      First we had to die cut our bees, Here is Riley playing with an already cut bee in the Big Shot machine.      Here is Riley turning the handle on the Big Shot machine to cut out all our bees. We had to do 16 in total one for the front and back as you will see in a little bit. Here is what the finished bee looks like and the die cut that we used from
