Hello I’ve got a new card to share with you today. Also a process video over on my YouTube channel with my first impressions of distress oxide inks. I did something different for this process video. I talk at the beginning no voice over was done as I shared my first impressions of using distress oxide inks for the first time and then to complete my card I just added music during the card making process. This is #3 in my Christmas card series so be sure to check out the other Christmas videos too.

Let me know in the comments below if you liked just the music or you like a voice over during the whole video? I might switch it up every once and awhile. The music you are hearing was arranged by my husband too.
So for the background of the card I used Ranger Distress ink water color paper. Then I used broken China distress oxide ink and blended that onto the paper using distress ink tool.
I colored the puppy from Avery Elle from the stamp set “Happy Howlidays”. I colored him in with Spectrum Noir markers. I used markers from the warm greys and turquoise sets. I also used the Sakura white Jelly Roll pen to add highlights to the puppy. He was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I used my Big Shot machine to cut the hills out from Lawn Fawn’s simple stitched hillside boarder die. Then I used vintage photo distress ink and the distress ink tools to add the color to hill.
To adhere the hill and puppy to the card panel I used foam squares I picked up at Dollarama. Then used the advanced tape glider to adhere the panel to the card base.
For the sentiment I used the antic static tool and used the sentiment from the same Avery Elle stamp set. I used Simon Says Stamp Clear embossing ink and used Recollections embossing powder called Clear Bark. Then I used the marvey heat tool to melt the embossing powder.
For the sequins I used crafty medley sequins packs and adhered them using Elmer’s dual tip glue pen. As a final touch I used the wink of Stella clear brush marker to add some sparkle to the puppy’s scarf.
