Lawn Fawn Christmas

Hello there! It's Friday and I have a new card to share with you in my Christmas Card Series.  That means there is another video over on my YouTube channel for you to check out too.  This is the 6th video in my Christmas Card Series over on my YouTube channel.  I hope you're following along and watching. If you liked the video after you watch it don't forget to give it a thumbs up and I'd love it if you subscribed.   I will be posting a new video every Monday and Friday leading up to Christmas. Alright onto the details about the card. I used Lawn Fawn's Here we go a waddling stamp set. I stamped the super cute penguins in memento tuxedo black ink on Spectrum noir premium ultra smooth card stock.   Then I used my spectrum noir markers to color in the images.  I used IG6, IG2 (Cool greys), LV2, LV3 (Purples), DR1, CR10 (Reds), TB3 (Blues), BT7 (Turquoise), OR1 (Yellows), EB7, EB5 (Browns). I also used the copic colorless blender to fix a few th...

Egg Nog Christmas Snowman

Hello I've got two cards with a video over on YouTube channel today.   This is the 5th video in my Christmas card series over on YouTube channel.  You can check out my other cards in my Christmas card series here on my blog or over on my YouTube channel too.   Today I did something a little bit different and used the snowman from the Lucerne egg nog carton to create two cards. I love using recycled pieces when I can and using different elements in my cards. I love how you can get 4 cards out of 2 egg nog cartons because of the front and back. It's also fun they come in red and green for regular and light egg nog.  Gives you options when you are using these cute snowman in a recycled project. This was a very simple card to make.  After you consume all your egg nog wash and let the cartoons dry and then you can cut the super cute snow man out to use him on the card. I used my paper trimmer to trim them down even more after cutting them out with scissors...

Cozy Christmas Decor

Happy Friday, I'm switching things up today in my Christmas card series. Today instead of a card we are making some Christmas decor.  Even though this project would make an excellent card and I know at some point I'll make some cards with these stamps too. Though when I first saw this stamp set it screamed Christmas decor to me. This is the 4th video in my Christmas card series over on YouTube, be sure to check them all out.  I'd love it if you would watch and subscribe. I've got a card/video coming every Monday and Friday leading up till Christmas.  I'm going to say it, All I want for Christmas is more YouTube subscribers. Alright onto the project.  I used red rubber stamps from the Unity Stamp company and the Beth Duff Designs collaboration.  This set is called "Warmth of Home" and it's so fun and cozy. I have some sad news to share with you today, one of my favorite companies Beth Duff Designs is closing down.  This makes me so sad, but I und...

Happy howlidays!

Hello I’ve got a new card to share with you today. Also a process video over on my YouTube channel with my first impressions of distress oxide inks.  I did something different for this process video. I talk at the beginning no voice over was done as I shared my first impressions of using distress oxide inks for the first time and then to complete my card I just added music during the card making process. This is #3 in my Christmas card series so be sure to check out the other Christmas videos too. Let me know in the comments below if you liked just the music or you like a voice over during the whole video?  I might switch it up every once and awhile. The music you are hearing was arranged by my husband too.   So for the background of the card I used Ranger Distress ink water color paper.  Then I used broken China distress oxide ink and blended that onto the paper using distress ink tool.     I colored the puppy from Avery Elle from the stamp ...

Hey There! It's Fall y'all, so I've got one more Fall card to share with you today here on the blog with a video over on my YouTube channel too.  It's funny Fall doesn't technically end till Dec 22nd, but yet the weather starts to change and get colder. Alright onto the card, for these super cute critters I used the Heffy Doodle/Simon Says Stamp Stamptember 2018 Exclusive ‘More Than S’mores".  (This set is no longer available as it was a Stamptember Exclusive, sorry)  I inked them up with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on some watercolor paper.  Then I used Crayola Watercolor pencils and a Sakura Watercolor brush to col...
