Get all the details on the Video. For Today's card I used Lawn Fawn's stamp "llama tell you".  I stamped the llama in memento tuxedo black ink. To color the image I used spectrum noir markers.  I used TN8, BG6, FS3, FS6, PL5, BP6 and BT5.  I fuzzy cut out the image so I could adhere it to my card. I adhered the two way sequins ribbon to the card base using liquid fabric glue.  Then set it aside to try. Recycle with Me #12 Bottle Cap Flowers "Mother's Day"

Hello There! Happy Saturday! I've got 3 cards to share with you today. Mother's Day is tomorrow so I've got a last minute Mother's Day card idea for you.   You can find all the information below and don't forget to check out the video for a full visual over on my YouTube channel. Alright so for today's recycle with me project I used Bottle caps and a milk cap to make the middle of the flower 3D and stand out. The 3 cards I created were very simple.  I first started off with some water color paper and my Koi watercolors. I took the bottle caps and held them and drew flower petals around the cap to create a flower.    Then I used some Spellbinders Circle dies I had in my collection to cut some circles to fit into the inside of the bottle caps.  I had two circle dies that fit perfectly with the two sizes of bottle caps so I was very happy about that.  To cut the circles I got out my Sizzix SideKick (mini die cutting machine).  You could us...

Recycle with me #11 Empty Wink of Stella Brush Pen (Featuring Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Flowers)

Hello there, it's been a little while since I posted. Not to long but it seems like a long time as it's been a long week around here. All my family has been battling colds and I'm still getting over it. Anyways, I've got a recycle with me card today for Mother's day.  I'll show you how I used an empty wink of stella clear brush pen as a water brush for water coloring.  I also used Simon Says Stamp's beautiful flowers stamp set. I started off by using the stamping platform to stamp the flowers on to some watercolor paper. To stamp it I used Simon Says Stamp clear embossing ink.  Then I used Simon Says Stamp white embossing powder over the ink.  At this point I used the Marvey heat tool to melt that embossing powder.  To color the image I grabbed the Koi watercolor set. As I was looking for my water brush on my desk I came across an empty wink of stella glitter brush that I had not thrown out yet.  So I started thinking what if I put water in this since m...

MFT Puddle Jumper- 2 ways to personalize your stamped image

Howdy!  I wanted to get this card up a little earlier at the end of April as a play on the "April showers bring May flowers. " Though that didn't work out but I'm sharing it just at the start of May to kick off the flower season. I used the stamp set "Puddle Jumper" from My Favorite Things". I loved this set as it reminds me of my boys so much.  I'll show you a few different ways to personalize your stamped image. I started off by stamping the little boy from the set in Memento Luxe Tuxedo black ink on some water color paper.  Then I used Ranger clear embossing powder and the Marvey heat tool. After that I was ready to start my water coloring with distress inks.  I used a sakura water brush to add the water to the distress inks. I sponged the ink directly onto the glass mat. I used the colors mustard seed, scattered straw, chipped sapphire, peeled paint, dried marigold, rusty hinge and frayed burlap. Next came the personalizing of each sta...

Recycle with me #10- Bubble wrap backgrounds with Distress oxides & Paint

Hey there, I've got something different for you today in my Recycle with me series over on my YouTube channel.  Definitely check it out! This is the 10th video in my recycle with me series over on my YouTube channel. Wahooo! I used bubble wrap from a mailer that came in the mail to create some backgrounds for cards.  For the first bubble wrap backgrounds I used fired brick and broken china distress oxide inks. I applied them to the card stock sprayed with water and put the bubble wrap over and pushed the bubble wrap down onto the paper.   For the next backgrounds, I decided to use some acrylic paint.  I applied it with a sponge brush to the bubble wrap and then put it onto the paper and pushed down and sometimes even popping the bubbles in the bubble wrap. I just kept reapplying paint to the bubble wrap and I even wiped the paint off the bubble wrap at one point to add some different colors.  I couldn't stop making this fun backgrounds. F...
