Recycle with me #11 Empty Wink of Stella Brush Pen (Featuring Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Flowers)

Hello there, it's been a little while since I posted. Not to long but it seems like a long time as it's been a long week around here. All my family has been battling colds and I'm still getting over it. Anyways, I've got a recycle with me card today for Mother's day.  I'll show you how I used an empty wink of stella clear brush pen as a water brush for water coloring.  I also used Simon Says Stamp's beautiful flowers stamp set.

I started off by using the stamping platform to stamp the flowers on to some watercolor paper. To stamp it I used Simon Says Stamp clear embossing ink.  Then I used Simon Says Stamp white embossing powder over the ink.  At this point I used the Marvey heat tool to melt that embossing powder.  To color the image I grabbed the Koi watercolor set. As I was looking for my water brush on my desk I came across an empty wink of stella glitter brush that I had not thrown out yet.  So I started thinking what if I put water in this since most of the glitter is gone. It's basically the same thing as a water brush.  Also it helps you get a bit more sparkle out into your projects and another water brush and you didn't need to spend extra money. For more details and visuals definitely check out my YouTube Video on my YouTube channel.

After I was all done my water coloring I fussy cut out the flowers. There is a die available for this set too if that's something you are interested in. I will link to the die as well in the supplies.  After cutting out the flowers I was ready to adhere it to my card base. I used the Scotch Advanced Tape glider to do so.  Then for the sentiment I stamped "Happy Mother's Day" in Memento tuxedo black ink. I then cut around the sentiment and adhered it to the card base again with the Scotch Advanced Tape Glider. The stamp I used was one I had in my collection from Stampin up.

Get Kids Crafty May Blog Hop Gardening theme

It's that time of month again where I share a fun crafty project that I made with my kiddo Riley for Get Kids Crafty. Hello and thank you for joining us for the May Get Kids Crafty! blog hop! We are thrilled to have you! Our theme this month is gardening and our kids have created some AMAZING projects to share with you! We had a lot of fun creating our project this month. We made a bumble bee mobile.  Both my kids love the song bringing home my baby bumble bee. Especially my youngest Liam, it seems to usually calm him down when he's upset.  So we created this fun project to the theme of the song.      First we had to die cut our bees, Here is Riley playing with an already cut bee in the Big Shot machine.      Here is Riley turning the handle on the Big Shot machine to cut out all our bees. We had to do 16 in total one for the front and back as you will see in a little bit. Here is what the finished bee looks like and the die cut that we used from
