The Rabbit Hole Designs "Miss You" Space with a music theme

Hello Everyone!  Thanks for stopping by today I've got a fun space themed music card for you today.  I designed this card for my husband to give to his music students.  His music program had a space theme so as a wrap up we decided to make these cards to go with their certificates and end of year encouragement.

The main stamp I used was from The Rabbit Hole Designs. It's their stamp set "Miss you". First I stamped the moon/planet  from the set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink to create a background.   Then I used a older Lawn Fawn stamp set called Pa Rum pa pum pum to stamp the music notes in the same ink.

I also stamped the bigger astronaut in the stamp set. I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with copics and pencil crayons.

At this point I adhered the background I created to some sparkly blue card stock with the Advanced tape glider and then cut a boarder around it.  Then I adhered that panel to the card base.  At this point I was ready to adhere the astronaut that I cut out. So I grabbed some foam tape and popped that up on the card to add some dimension.

Then I went a little crazy on the inside and used The Rabbit Hole Designs "Aim for the Stars" stencil and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide inks and a blending brush on both side of the inside.  I also used Salty Ocean distress Oxide ink to add the sentiment "Aim for the stars" from the stencil.   To add to the fun I used a Ranger emboss it pen over the stars of the one side and used Lawn Fawn's glow in the dark embossing powder to get the stars to glow in the dark. (I love that this embossing powder glows in the dark, it's just too fun!) To heat set the embossing powder and get it to melt I used the Marvey heat tool.

Lastly I used the Lawn Fawn stamp set "Light's out" and stamped two sentiments in Memento Tuxedo Black ink to tell the recipient of the fun glow in the dark feature.  I stamped "Light's out" and "Pssst, I glow in the dark."

Get Kids Crafty May Blog Hop Gardening theme

It's that time of month again where I share a fun crafty project that I made with my kiddo Riley for Get Kids Crafty. Hello and thank you for joining us for the May Get Kids Crafty! blog hop! We are thrilled to have you! Our theme this month is gardening and our kids have created some AMAZING projects to share with you! We had a lot of fun creating our project this month. We made a bumble bee mobile.  Both my kids love the song bringing home my baby bumble bee. Especially my youngest Liam, it seems to usually calm him down when he's upset.  So we created this fun project to the theme of the song.      First we had to die cut our bees, Here is Riley playing with an already cut bee in the Big Shot machine.      Here is Riley turning the handle on the Big Shot machine to cut out all our bees. We had to do 16 in total one for the front and back as you will see in a little bit. Here is what the finished bee looks like and the die cut that we used from
