Hello There, I've got one more video to share in my Christmas in July card series over on YouTube. I can't believe July is coming to an end but August is coming.
For Today's card I used the Lawn Fawn "Loads of fun" stamp set to create a fun and different Christmas card.
I first created a floor with some Dollar Tree wood grain paper. Then I was able to stamp out my images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. To stamp out the images I used my stamping platform.
Then I colored the images in with Spectrum noir markers. Next I finished off the scene on my slimline card and I used the two red colors in the Michael's Recollections Mica Powder set. I created a spray with the powders and used it here to add a pop of color to what would be the wall in my scene. When that was all done I fussy cut out the images and started creating my scene.
I then added a wobble to a circle piece that would fit into the washing machine area to make it look like the washing was doing it's job. I adhered all the colored images with the Scotch Advanced tape glider. At this point I added some pieces that I printed off the computer. I found some images of Santa's suit and a Santa hat to add to the washing machine. I also went ahead and adhered that with the advanced tape glider.
Then I was ready to add my sentiment. For the sentiment I used two sentiments from the "Loads of fun" stamp set and then also Lawn Fawn's "Cheery Christmas" set. I used my anti static tool on the black card stock. Then I got out the Simon Says Stamp Clear embossing ink and stamped each of the sentiments and used Simon Says Stamp white embossing powder and heat set those with my heat tool. Then I was able to cut those down into stripes and once again adhere those to my card.
Thank you so much for coming by today. I hope you enjoyed this Christmas in July card series. I know I had a lot of fun creating some fun Christmas cards. I've got a bunch of fun ideas coming up over the next few months so definitely come keep coming back.
