Hello there, I've got a very simple card for you today using the Lawn Fawn stamp set Peacock Before and Afters.
I cut down a card base from Micheal's Recollection card stock. I then used the bone folder to smooth out the card fold and make sure it was flat.
At this point I stamped the peacock from the stamp set in memento tuxedo black ink and colored it in with spectrum noir markers. I used JG6, CG1, BT9 and CT4 to color the peacock for a camouflage look. After cutting out the peacock and I used cracked pistachio distress oxide ink and the Dollarama make up brush to create a circle for the peacock to sit on.
Then I was ready to work on the sentiment which was also from the same set. I stamped strut your stuff, shake your tail feathers! and you must be proud as a peacock! on some green card stock. I used Simon Says Stamp clear embossing ink to stamp it. Then I used Simon Says Stamp white embossing powder and melted the powder with the Marvey heat tool. I love how the white looked on the green paper. I then cut down the sentiment into stripes. At this point I was ready to adhere all the pieces together. To adhere the peacock I used some pop dots to add some dimension behind the peacock. To adhere the sentiment stripes I used the Xyron sticker maker for a quick and easy assembly.
Thanks so much for coming by today! I hope you like this card. I had so much fun creating it.
