Fall 2019 Card Series/Avery Elle Birthday Bus switch up to the Fall Bus #1

Hello there, today starts my Fall card series here on my blog and over on my YouTube channel. I am so excited to be starting this card series.   Stay tuned for more Fall themed cards and projects over the next month or so.

Now on to today's card I used the Avery Elle Stamp "Birthday Bus". I was going to make a birthday card that was fall themed and I could of still. But as I started coloring the bus became the "Pumpkin Patch Express" and for the bigger sentiment I decided to write "Happy Fall" with the black wink of stella pen.

I stamped the bus in Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black ink and colored the image with my spectrum  noir markers.  I don't recommend this ink for coloring with alcohol markers. If you watch the video you will see it smudges with the colors quite a bit. I actually took a black pen and outlined the stamp to help bring it back out since it smudged a bit.

For the pumpkin I used Hello Bluebirds "Halloween Party" stamp set.  To create my scene I used broken china distress oxide ink to blend the sky.  I then used some fossilized amber distress oxide ink to blend with the blue on the bottom to create a green for the grass since I don't have a green yet in my collection.

I also used the Lawn Fawn Road Boarder Die to create a dirt road for the bus to travel on.  I used the Sixxiz SideKick machine to cut the road out.

Once everything was adhered using the Advanced Tape Glider and the Xyron sticker maker I used the wink of stella clear pen to add some sparkle to the pumpkins and bus.

Thank you so much for driving by today and joining me as I kick off my fall Card series. I hope you keep coming back all Fall long for more Fall themed fun.

Get Kids Crafty May Blog Hop Gardening theme

It's that time of month again where I share a fun crafty project that I made with my kiddo Riley for Get Kids Crafty. Hello and thank you for joining us for the May Get Kids Crafty! blog hop! We are thrilled to have you! Our theme this month is gardening and our kids have created some AMAZING projects to share with you! We had a lot of fun creating our project this month. We made a bumble bee mobile.  Both my kids love the song bringing home my baby bumble bee. Especially my youngest Liam, it seems to usually calm him down when he's upset.  So we created this fun project to the theme of the song.      First we had to die cut our bees, Here is Riley playing with an already cut bee in the Big Shot machine.      Here is Riley turning the handle on the Big Shot machine to cut out all our bees. We had to do 16 in total one for the front and back as you will see in a little bit. Here is what the finished bee looks like and the die cut that we used from
