Hello there I'm back with another card for you today. It features some Lawn Fawn products once again. There is also a video over on my YouTube channel.
I started by blending my background on the card base. I used broken china, black soot and fossilized amber distress oxide inks and blended them using the Dollarama make up brush to create a scene. Then I used a paint brush and water and splattered it over the distress oxide ink and used paper towel to lift the ink off the paper.
Then I used the Sixxiz sidekick machine to cut the Lawn Fawn Hammock & tree dies. Once those were all cut I used some chalk markers to draw some simple doodles on the black ground. The idea behind this was my kids drawing on the cement in our backyard.
To adhere the Hammock and trees to the card I used the Xyron Sticker maker and assembled the hammock together.
For the sentiment I used the stamp set On the Beach from Lawn Fawn and used the sentiment "Have a relaxing Day". I used memento Luxe tuxedo black ink to stamp that. I also stamped the ball from the same stamp set. Then I colored the ball with my spectrum noir markers and used the colors PL5 and TB9.
To seal the chalk on the paper as I didn't want it to smudge. I took some hair spray and carefully sprayed it over the area I had used the chalk.
