Recycle with me #13 Oreo cookie packaging recycle

Hello There, it's been awhile since I did a recycle with me card project for you.  Today I've got 3 fun cards to share with you using the packaging from Oreo cookies.  I created a grad card and 2 fun coffee, cookie and cinnamon bun themed cards.

For the first card I used Honey bee stamps "Coffee Break" stamp set and stamped the to go cup in memento tuxedo black ink.  Then I colored the to go cup in with spectrum noir markers.  I used TN8,  BG4 and OR1.  I then used various pieces from the Oreo cookie packaging and glued it down on the card.  Then for the background  I used vintage photo distress oxide ink along with the Dollarama make up brush to blend the ink onto the card base.  For the sentiment I used the stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps called "Perfect Blend".

For the second card I created a grad card. I used broken china distress oxide ink along with the Dollarama make up brush.   I glued the word Oreo on top of the card and then stamped the sentiment "Congrats Grad" with the graduation cap.  Then I also added the Oreo cookie from the packaging with a glue stick.  I created another sentiment on my computer in word and printed it.  It says "You did it! Smart cookie!"  I added a black boarder around the sentiment using a scrap piece of card stock.  Then glued the sentiment onto the card.

For the third card I used the vintage photo distress oxide ink again for the background.  Then I stamped the coffee cup from Honey Bee Stamp "Coffee Break" stamp set.  I stamped it in memento tuxedo black ink and then used the BT5 spectrum noir marker to color the coffee cup. At first I used a brown pencil crayon to add some steam into the coffee cup later I go in with TN7 spectrum noir marker to make it stand out more.    I used a glue stick to glue the little cinnamon bun on and the word cinnamon bun from the Oreo cookie packaging.  Then I used memento tuxedo black ink again to stamp the words coffee and time to finish off the sentiment. When it's all done it says "Coffee and cinnamon bun time"  To stamp the words I used the Honey Bee Stamps "Perfect Blend" stamp set once again.  To finish off the card I used "Morning dew" nuvo drops around the sides to add a little bit more to the card.

Thank you for coming by today. You could have so much fun creating with the various flavors of Oreo cookies.  What's your favorite Oreo cookie flavor?

Get Kids Crafty May Blog Hop Gardening theme

It's that time of month again where I share a fun crafty project that I made with my kiddo Riley for Get Kids Crafty. Hello and thank you for joining us for the May Get Kids Crafty! blog hop! We are thrilled to have you! Our theme this month is gardening and our kids have created some AMAZING projects to share with you! We had a lot of fun creating our project this month. We made a bumble bee mobile.  Both my kids love the song bringing home my baby bumble bee. Especially my youngest Liam, it seems to usually calm him down when he's upset.  So we created this fun project to the theme of the song.      First we had to die cut our bees, Here is Riley playing with an already cut bee in the Big Shot machine.      Here is Riley turning the handle on the Big Shot machine to cut out all our bees. We had to do 16 in total one for the front and back as you will see in a little bit. Here is what the finished bee looks like and the die cut that we used from
