I've got a fun card today using the caffeinated dino from the Rabbit Hole Designs. Of course there is a video over on my YouTube Channel where you can watch the process. Today's video is also a collab with Jessica Shier she did a video over on her channel too. We both used the same stamp set and did a summer theme. We came up with two different cards.
I started off by using the sixxiz sidekick machine to cut out some grass using the My favorite things "Grassy edges" die. Then I used the Big shot machine to cut out the sun rays embossed background using a Tim Holtz embossing folder and my big shot machine.
Next I adhered the embossed background to the card base with the Scotch advanced tape glider. I then adhered the grass with the Xyron sticker maker over the embossed sun rays.
At this point I was ready to stamp and color the dino. I stamped it in memento tuxedo black ink and colored it in spectrum noir markers. The colors I used were CG1, JG6, TB3, CT3, TN8 and IG4.
I cut out the dino and added some circle foam dots to the back of the dino to pop him up.
To stamp the sentiment I used Memento luxe black ink. Then fixed it with a Micro black pen as it didn't stamp super well due to the embossing on the background. I also used that pen to add the word sun on the coffee cup and Happy Summer on the background as well.
To finish off the card I used the wink of stella clear pen and added glitter to the sun rays.
