Lawn Fawn Penguin Happy Birthday (Music Themed) Husband takes over the voiceover on YouTube

Hello There, I've got a fun Birthday card for you today. Also I switched things up over on my YouTube channel and got my husband to do the voice over. We did this for a few reasons. One it's my birthday, he's a guitar player and loved this card I created and I created this card for our work music recital for a raffle prize.

For today's card I used Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink and Broken China Distress Oxide ink to blend a background on the card base.  I used the Dollarama make up brush to blend these two colors together.

Then I was ready to stamp the penguin from Lawn Fawn's Here we go a waddling stamp set.  So this is a Christmas set. Though I wanted to see it as a non Christmas penguin.  I used Memento Tuxedo black in and only put ink on the penguin and not his Christmas hat.  I stamped it on the paper and started coloring with my spectrum noir markers.   With the markers I just drew in the top of his head where the hat would of been.  For the Colors I used BG6, CR10, BT7, TN8 and IG10.

To pop up the penguin on the background I created earlier I used some foam pop dots to add some dimension.

For the sentiment I used Lawn Fawn's stamp set "Critter Concert"  and I used Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black ink. This way I got a very dark ink impression on the distress oxide background.

To finish off the card I used Morning Dew Nuvo drops to add a final touch to the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  Hope you have a awesome day!

Get Kids Crafty May Blog Hop Gardening theme

It's that time of month again where I share a fun crafty project that I made with my kiddo Riley for Get Kids Crafty. Hello and thank you for joining us for the May Get Kids Crafty! blog hop! We are thrilled to have you! Our theme this month is gardening and our kids have created some AMAZING projects to share with you! We had a lot of fun creating our project this month. We made a bumble bee mobile.  Both my kids love the song bringing home my baby bumble bee. Especially my youngest Liam, it seems to usually calm him down when he's upset.  So we created this fun project to the theme of the song.      First we had to die cut our bees, Here is Riley playing with an already cut bee in the Big Shot machine.      Here is Riley turning the handle on the Big Shot machine to cut out all our bees. We had to do 16 in total one for the front and back as you will see in a little bit. Here is what the finished bee looks like and the die cut that we used from
