MFT Phone Call Away/ Distress oxide ink & stencils

Hey there! Today I’ve got a new card to share with you and of course there is a video on my YouTube channel so you can see my process.

For today’s card I used “My Favorite Things” Pure Innocence Phone Call Away stamp.  I stamped the girl in memento tuxedo black ink and colored it in with Spectrum Noir markers.  I used BT7, BT5, TB6, TB3,EB2 & True Black. For the hair I used black pencil crayon. I used a Sakura white gelly roll pen to add some details to the image.

I cut down a card base from Micheal’s Recollections card stock. Then I was ready to do the background which I did directly on the card base.  I used cracked pistachio distress oxide ink for the for the wall and vintage photo distress oxide ink for the floor on the background. To blend these colors onto my card base I used a Dollarama “Lisa” make up brush.  Then I grabbed stencil from my collection and used broken China distress oxide ink with the stencil to create some wall paper. Then I used a black pen and a ruler to draw some lines on the brown floor to create a hardwood look.

Lastly it was time for my sentiment I used a "Thoughts of you" wood mounted stamp from the Micheal's $1.50 bin stamps from awhile back.  I used Memento Luxe tuxedo black ink for the sentiment as I wanted it to really stand out and be bright on the distress oxide colors.  Then I took the words "Ring" and "Hello" from the phone call away stamp set and also stamped them in Memento Luxe tuxedo black ink.

Thanks for so much for coming by today!
