Recycle with me #5- Winter gift bag

Hello there, I’ve got a bunch of new cards to share with you today. Six of them to be exact and I could of made more. For today’s cards it’s a part of my Recycle with me series over on my YouTube channel. This will be the 5th video in that series so be sure to head over to YouTube and see all the videos so far and see how I’ve been using recycled supplies in cards.

We recently had a snow fall.  Where I live we don’t get too much snow but because of that we are never prepared for it.  So my husband was home from work for a day so we were able to have a lot of fun in the snow with the kids.  Also while my husband was home I was able to switch some things around in our closet and I was inspired by this winter gift bag since we just had a snowfall.

The great thing about using a gift bag is you could do it for any occasion you can find a cute gift bag for.  Birthdays, weddings, and so much more.  The dollar store is a great place to find gift bags for a great price.  Also after an occasion where presents are if you can’t reuse it maybe it got damaged when opening. This is a great way to recycle and do something different.

These cards were super easy to assemble. I used white card stock from Micheal’s Recollections cardstock as my card base.  I cut down the gift bag and used different elements from the bag in different ways. Then I was ready to adhere everything together. I used the scotch advanced tape glider and also some gem tac glue from beacon.  I used the beacon glue to adhere a piece of ribbon also from the gift bag.

For the sentiments I grabbed a bunch of wooden stamps I have in my collection from Micheal’s $1.50-$2.00 bin.  I used Memento tuxedo black ink to stamp the sentiments to create a variety of cards for different occasions for the winter season.

Get Kids Crafty May Blog Hop Gardening theme

It's that time of month again where I share a fun crafty project that I made with my kiddo Riley for Get Kids Crafty. Hello and thank you for joining us for the May Get Kids Crafty! blog hop! We are thrilled to have you! Our theme this month is gardening and our kids have created some AMAZING projects to share with you! We had a lot of fun creating our project this month. We made a bumble bee mobile.  Both my kids love the song bringing home my baby bumble bee. Especially my youngest Liam, it seems to usually calm him down when he's upset.  So we created this fun project to the theme of the song.      First we had to die cut our bees, Here is Riley playing with an already cut bee in the Big Shot machine.      Here is Riley turning the handle on the Big Shot machine to cut out all our bees. We had to do 16 in total one for the front and back as you will see in a little bit. Here is what the finished bee looks like and the die cut that we used from
