Pumpkin Spice Panda- Beth Duff Designs

Hello there, Fall is officially here and I've got a card to share with you using the new set Cuddle like  Panda from Beth Duff Designs.  This is from the new fall release and this only one. There is eight other stamp sets to check out too.  Here is a direct link to these super cute panda set over at Beth Duff Designs.  ---------------> Cuddle like Panda

Also, if you didn't know already I have started a YouTube channel so you can see the card process, learn something new and maybe craft along with me.  There are two videos up on my channel already and this will be the third.  This Fall themed card will be the first installment in my Fall card series, I have a few cards coming and some ideas in mind. We will see how this goes as it's my first card series but stay tuned and check out my channel.

Anyways on to the card, let's get right into it. I started off by using the Big Shot machine to die cut a rectangle from My Favorite Things Rectangle STAX set 1 die-namics.  I cut this piece so that I could then stamp my image. I used Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth Premium card stock to cut the rectangle.  As I mentioned before I used the new stamp set from Beth Duff Designs called cuddle like a panama.  I used the Panda with a scarf and cup and embraced the fall pumpkin spice latte theme.

I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then I stamped the sentiments in the same ink.  The sentiments are from a Simon Says Stamp/Greeting Farm Stamptember Exclusive from 2017 called Pumpkin Spice it up.  So sadly this set is no longer available but there are so many great pumpkin spice stamp sets out there.  If you got this stamp set last year when it was available hopefully this card can inspire you to bring out your stamp set.  I used two sentiments from the set which were Fall is here and pumpkin spice it up.

After getting all the stamping done I came in with my Spectrum Noir markers.    I used IG2 and used the blender to add some shadow to the panda. The great thing about Pandas when you stamp them in black ink they are already done for you.  Then I added BT7 and DR3 to the panda's scarf to bring in some color.  For the panda's cup I used CR10 to go along with the pumpkin spice theme.  After that I decided to use the same orange marker CR10 to color around the sentiment to make it stand out a bit more.

To add some more colors to the layers in my card I decided to distress the edges of the cardstock with two colors of distress ink.  I used carved pumpkin distress ink and ground espresso distress ink to continue that pumpkin spice theme through out the whole card.  I cut down a card base in the cream color from Micheal's Recollection's card stock. I added just the ground espresso distress ink to the card base to finish the layers off.

To adhere everything together and finish off the card I used the Scotch Advanced Tape Glider.

Thanks for stopping by today.  It's fall go grab a pumpkin spice latte or your favorite fall drink and hopefully you can have time to sit down and be crafty as you soak in the fall season.

Get Kids Crafty May Blog Hop Gardening theme

It's that time of month again where I share a fun crafty project that I made with my kiddo Riley for Get Kids Crafty. Hello and thank you for joining us for the May Get Kids Crafty! blog hop! We are thrilled to have you! Our theme this month is gardening and our kids have created some AMAZING projects to share with you! We had a lot of fun creating our project this month. We made a bumble bee mobile.  Both my kids love the song bringing home my baby bumble bee. Especially my youngest Liam, it seems to usually calm him down when he's upset.  So we created this fun project to the theme of the song.      First we had to die cut our bees, Here is Riley playing with an already cut bee in the Big Shot machine.      Here is Riley turning the handle on the Big Shot machine to cut out all our bees. We had to do 16 in total one for the front and back as you will see in a little bit. Here is what the finished bee looks like and the die cut that we used from
