Jesus and Coffee are a perfect blend!

Hello Hello, I have a coffee themed card to share with you.  I made this recently for a friend who diagnosed with Colon cancer.   They have a go fund me page if you want to read updates or help support them in this time of need.  Check it out here Go Fund Me

I had a lot of fun coming up with this coffee sentiment.  I based it off of the song "Be Bold, Be strong for the Lord your God is with you"  I feel in a time of crisis like this is a great reminder to rely on Jesus and trust in his strength.   We don't know the outcome and we don't always know why things happen but we can have faith that Jesus will get us through.

The to go cups are stamped in memento Tuxedo black ink and embossed with Simon Says Stamp clear embossing powder.  To emboss the to go cups I used the Marvey heat tool. The to go cups are from the Honey Bee Stamps "Coffee Break" stamp set.   To color the to go cups I used  spectrum noir markers.  BT7 and TB2 for the cups.  I used GB10 and the blender for the coffee cup sleeves.   For the lids I used IG4 and the blender.   To add the white details on the to go cups I used the Sakura Gelly Roll 08 white pen.   The stars are colored in CT4.   The star is from Lawn Fawn's Cheery Christmas stamp set and it was stamped in Memento Tuxedo black ink as well.  After I colored the stars I dipped them in Simon Says Stamp clear embossing ink and then used Lawn Fawn glow in the dark embossing powder and the marvey heat tool again to add this fun element on the card.  I'm still amazed I can make things glow in the dark on my cards and projects. WAY TO FUN!!!

The sentiment is also stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and I used Honey Bee Stamps "Perfect Blend" stamp set.   For the word "Jesus" in the sentiment I used Honey Bee Stamps "Joy to the World" stamp set.

The embossed background of coffee beans is an embossing folder by Sizzix from Tim Holtz coffee set. It's one of my favorites but sadly it's discounted.

To adhere eveything together I used my Scotch Advanced tape Glider.  Lastly I used ground espresso distress ink to distress the edges and make it pop.

This is the inside of the card featured below. I had a lot of fun creating this sentiment too. Again I used Honey Bee Stamps "Perfect Blend" stamp set and for the word "Prayers" I used a alphabet set from the Micheal's $1.50 bin.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope this card inspired you to get creative and encourage those around you with the creative talent you have.  Let's use this fun hobby to encourage those around us.

Get Kids Crafty May Blog Hop Gardening theme

It's that time of month again where I share a fun crafty project that I made with my kiddo Riley for Get Kids Crafty. Hello and thank you for joining us for the May Get Kids Crafty! blog hop! We are thrilled to have you! Our theme this month is gardening and our kids have created some AMAZING projects to share with you! We had a lot of fun creating our project this month. We made a bumble bee mobile.  Both my kids love the song bringing home my baby bumble bee. Especially my youngest Liam, it seems to usually calm him down when he's upset.  So we created this fun project to the theme of the song.      First we had to die cut our bees, Here is Riley playing with an already cut bee in the Big Shot machine.      Here is Riley turning the handle on the Big Shot machine to cut out all our bees. We had to do 16 in total one for the front and back as you will see in a little bit. Here is what the finished bee looks like and the die cut that we used from
