Hello happy Wednesday! Today I've got a super simple coffee card to share.
I started off by creating the background piece with the coffee to go cups. I used the sizzix Tim Holtz on the go texture fades embossing folder. I ran that through my Big Shot machine then cut it down. Then I used ground espresso distress ink and the blending tools to sponge over the to go cup background. To finish off the background piece I used memento tuxedo black ink to distress the edges and make them pop a little bit.
Then I stamped the sentiments in memento tuxedo black ink. For the coffee sentiments I used Honey Bee Stamps "Perfect Blend" stamp set. Also for the Happy Birthday sentiment I used Avery Elle's Birthday Bus stamp set. I cut around the stamped sentiments and created simple banners with my scissors.
After creating a card base with cream Micheal's Recollections card stock I took the shabby shutters distress ink and dabbed the mini cube directly onto the paper to add some color and texture to the card stock.
Lastly to adhere everything together I used my Scotch Advanced Tape Glider for the bigger pieces and for the sentiments I attached those using the Xyron Sticker maker.
