"You're on a Roll" using Beth Duff Designs

Hello, it's me again and I've got another card to share using a Beth Duff Designs digital stamp. This time I used these cute otters from the set "Life's Greatest Blessing".

First I started off by printing the images on my printer and then colored the otters are are colored in pencil crayons and outlined in true black from Spectrum noir to finish off the edges after cutting out the image and hide any white.

I was inspired by this particular otter when I looked at him to me it looked like they were rolling around like a little ball. I remembered  I had a stamp from Micheal's $1.50 bin that said you're on a roll. So I knew I needed to create a card using these two things.

The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  Then I sponged Ground espresso distress ink over the sentiment and edges of the card to make these parts pop.

The embossed background is called Swiss Dots and I am not sure if it is still available. Sorry I have so many embossing folders in my collection that I collected a long time ago.  I'm sure there is something similar out there to get the same look.  I used my Big shot machine to get get the embossed background.

To get the swirl or wave under the otters to really emphasis that on a roll sentiment I used Lawn Fawn's Road Boarder Die.

If you have not figured out by now I'm loving these different sets from Beth Duff Designs, there are more too go check it out for yourself. Maybe they have that stamp set you've been looking for for your next project.  Like this card I believe Beth Duff Designs is on a roll as a new and upcoming company.  I am super pleased with them, there is a great team behind them and great customer service.

Get Kids Crafty May Blog Hop Gardening theme

It's that time of month again where I share a fun crafty project that I made with my kiddo Riley for Get Kids Crafty. Hello and thank you for joining us for the May Get Kids Crafty! blog hop! We are thrilled to have you! Our theme this month is gardening and our kids have created some AMAZING projects to share with you! We had a lot of fun creating our project this month. We made a bumble bee mobile.  Both my kids love the song bringing home my baby bumble bee. Especially my youngest Liam, it seems to usually calm him down when he's upset.  So we created this fun project to the theme of the song.      First we had to die cut our bees, Here is Riley playing with an already cut bee in the Big Shot machine.      Here is Riley turning the handle on the Big Shot machine to cut out all our bees. We had to do 16 in total one for the front and back as you will see in a little bit. Here is what the finished bee looks like and the die cut that we used from
