New Home- Apartment in the city Style

I've got a fun card to share with you today. I really enjoyed putting this card together for a friend who just moved into the heart of the city into an apartment building. For this card I used My Favorite Things Fishtail Flags STAX die-namics to place the sentiment on.  For the sentiment I stamped "New Home" used letter stamps from the $1 bin at Micheal's. To create the cloud, tree and building I used Simon Says Stamp "Love makes a Home" stamp set and dies.  I created the shape of the building freely as the stamp set only allows you to do a smaller house but since I needed to make an apartment I did my own thing. To stamp all the details I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  Lastly I drew the little car and outlined it with a white pen .  For the tree I used My Favorite Things Chocolate Brown Hybrid Ink and Simon Says Beanstalk Green ink. I will be linking this card up with Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge for this week.  This week's

Let's Chill ~ Lawn Fawn winter scene

Hello I've got a card to share with you today.  I'm so excited to share another card with you featuring the lawn fawn stamp set toboggan together .  I just can't stop using it it's just too cute! This time I created some slopes for these cute animals to chill out on.  The sentiment is from the "Penguins in Paradise" stamp set from My Favorite Things. I used Simon Says Stamp "Beanstalk Green" to stamp the trees and outlined it with a green copic marker. I also did the trunk of the tree with a brown copic marker. The sky I used My Favorite Things "Blue Raspberry" ink.   Then of course my cute images are colored with copic markers. To stamp the lawn fawn stamps I used "Memento Tuxedo Black" ink.

To a deer friend

Hello There I've got a very fun card to share with you today.  I love how this card turned out! I created a scene with the super cute Lawn Fawn stamp set "Toboggan Together" .  I just can't get enough of Lawn Fawn these days, so cute and I'd love to create with every stamp set. So I finally got around to using this set which is new to me and was able to create this fun scene. I don't usually create this detailed a scene but I've been so inspired by other crafters cards and wanted to try.  I blended the background with My Favorite Things "After Midnight" Hybrid ink and the moon is My Favorite Things "Banana Split" Hybrid ink.  The two dear from the stamp set are colored with my copic markers.  The sentiment is also from the same stamp set.  For the grass I used My Favorite Things grassy Fields Die-namics .  Last but not least to create the trees I recycled a Kleenex box that had this pattern on it. I will be linking this

Thanks "Penguin Style"

I'm excited to share this super cute card with you that I created with the set from My Favorite Things "Penguins in Paradise"  I used some MFT hybrid ink as well to create the blended circle background. I used three different colors which are Banana Split , Chocolate Brown and After Midnight . The Palm trees are from Lawn Fawns "Critters from the Past" stamp set.  The sentiment is die cut from an older sizzix die. The penguin and sentiment are colored with my copic markers and I added the sparkle with a clear wink of Stella pen to finish it off. I made this card in my mind for my Husbands grandparents.  We just went on vacation to visit them and they live on the lake. So I gave this card to them as a thank you for letting us visit them and stay with them.  I thought it was fitting and cute as they live on the lake. I said to them "if a penguin came to visit you it might look like this". Fun times. I hope you're having a great summer,

Graduation congratulations

I recently found this in my drafts section  and Thougt I'd share it now since June is graduation time.  This card uses My Favortie Things Graduation Die-namics (Which I think is retired now because I can't find it on their site or Simon Says Stamp)

Hello there I recently made this card for my husband's grandmother on her birthday.  I love how this card turned out with the red.  Unfortunately I was unable to find a link to the stamp used but Simon Says Stamp sells another great Gerber daisy die from My Favourite Things that would work great to create this look too.   MFT Gerber Die-namics

New Home

Hello and Happy Thursday to you!  I made this card recently for some friend's of ours who moved into a new home.  I love how this card turned out. I loved building the home and creating the scene with Simon Says stamp love makes a home stamp and dies.  I used my copic markers to color in the house I created.  The sun is from a random stamp I had in my stash and the new home key sentiment is also a old stamp I had in my stash. I really need to post more on the blog.  I've made a lot that I haven't posted yet. I really want to be more active and participate in challenges again and post more regulary.  I am making cards but I am also working on several other crafty projects too. My newest project is a busy book for my son Riley.  I'll have to post pictures of that when I'm done.   Love Makes a Home Simon Says Stamp (Can also be purchased individually)
