Cozy Christmas Decor

Happy Friday, I'm switching things up today in my Christmas card series. Today instead of a card we are making some Christmas decor.  Even though this project would make an excellent card and I know at some point I'll make some cards with these stamps too. Though when I first saw this stamp set it screamed Christmas decor to me. This is the 4th video in my Christmas card series over on YouTube, be sure to check them all out.  I'd love it if you would watch and subscribe. I've got a card/video coming every Monday and Friday leading up till Christmas.  I'm going to say it, All I want for Christmas is more YouTube subscribers. Alright onto the project.  I used red rubber stamps from the Unity Stamp company and the Beth Duff Designs collaboration.  This set is called "Warmth of Home" and it's so fun and cozy. I have some sad news to share with you today, one of my favorite companies Beth Duff Designs is closing down.  This makes me so sad, but I und

Happy howlidays!

Hello I’ve got a new card to share with you today. Also a process video over on my YouTube channel with my first impressions of distress oxide inks.  I did something different for this process video. I talk at the beginning no voice over was done as I shared my first impressions of using distress oxide inks for the first time and then to complete my card I just added music during the card making process. This is #3 in my Christmas card series so be sure to check out the other Christmas videos too. Let me know in the comments below if you liked just the music or you like a voice over during the whole video?  I might switch it up every once and awhile. The music you are hearing was arranged by my husband too.   So for the background of the card I used Ranger Distress ink water color paper.  Then I used broken China distress oxide ink and blended that onto the paper using distress ink tool.     I colored the puppy from Avery Elle from the stamp set “Happy Howlidays”. I love you more than pumpkin Spice Lattes & Pumpkin Pie

Hey There! It's Fall y'all, so I've got one more Fall card to share with you today here on the blog with a video over on my YouTube channel too.  It's funny Fall doesn't technically end till Dec 22nd, but yet the weather starts to change and get colder. We start gearing up for Christmas and feel like it's winter even before it's actually winter.  Fall has many different seasons itself and can often feel like winter.   This is the last card in my Fall card series over on my YouTube channel. I would love for you to check out this card there and you can see the other 7 cards there too. Alright onto the card, for these super cute critters I used the Heffy Doodle/Simon Says Stamp Stamptember 2018 Exclusive ‘More Than S’mores".  (This set is no longer available as it was a Stamptember Exclusive, sorry)  I inked them up with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on some watercolor paper.  Then I used Crayola Watercolor pencils and a Sakura Watercolor brush to colo

Hopefully it doesn't snow too much but a little bit is nice. Riley has been asking for snow

Happy Birthday Puperoni 3rd Birthday!!

Hi there, thanks for stopping my blog today. I've got a super cute birthday card I made a bit ago for a three year old. I used Simon Says Stamp's "Favorite Puperoni 3x4 Clear stamp set".  You should check out this set, it's so cute!!! I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Spectrum Noir Markers and one copic marker. Tomoto sauce on pizza: CR8 Pepporoni: TN8 Puppy: IG6 & IG4 Ears: PL1 Feet and Face: E21 (Copic) & Blender Hat: BT5, CT3 & BT7 Candles: BT5, CT3 & OR1 Pizza Plate: BT5, BT7 & Blender Pizza Crust: EB5 For the sentiment I used the "Happy" from the stamp set and wrote my own B-Day letters myself.  For the banner that the sentiment is on it's die cut from Spellbinders

Christmas Family canvas 2018

Hello, I’ve started some Christmas projects and I’ve even decorated for Christmas too. When do you decorate for Christmas? Today I’m sharing a different project with you that’s not a card.  As a guest designer for Ephemorie Digital Design I was asked to create not only cards but other projects too. Every once and awhile I like to do other DIY projects and create something different so I was up to the challenge. So I created this family Christmas canvas using the Digital letter size paper pack called North Pole. Ephemorie Digital Design is an Etsy shop specializing in digital papers for scrapbooking, tags and journals and more with a vintage feel. Check them out at the links below. The links: Etsy - http://etsy.com/shop/ephpop FB - http://facebook.com/ephemoire I printed the "I love you to the North Pole and back" paper on my printer and then used Golden artists colors soft gel (gloss) to adhere it to the canvas. I thought this was such a cute sentiment on the

Hello Bluebird Fall Friends

Hey there, I’ve got another Fall Card & video for you over on my YouTube channel today.  I’m super excited for this card and I love how it turned out. I used Hello Bluebird Fall Friends Stamp Set.  I stamped them in memento tuxedo black ink and coloured them with pencil crayons.   For my sunset background I used Distress watercolour cardstock by Ranger. Then I used fossilized amber, spun sugar, wilted violet and Victorian velvet distress inks to create the sunset. To blend the colours together I used the mini ink blending tool.  Then I took a small spray bottle and sprayed it over the ink and used paper towel to just help it all blend together a bit more.   Then I used my Big Shot machine to cut the Lawn Fawn Leafy Tree landscape die. I used Kraft Cardstock from Micheal’s Recollections.   I also cut some grass from My Favorite Things  Grassy Edges Die-namics from Micheal’s Recollections green cardstock.   At this point it was time to adhere everything togeth

Hello there, I’m so excited to share that I’m a guest designer for Ephemoire Digital Design . They are a shop on Etsy that sells vintage paper, collage sheets, clip art and Journal kits. The best thing is they are all printable from your home computer.   I’ve worked with digital stamps before and always wanted to work with digital paper so I was excited to get this opportunity. The links to all things Ephemoire Digital Designs:  Etsy - http://etsy.com/shop/ephpop FB - http://facebook.com/ephemoire Today I will be sharing three projects with you but I didn’t want to stop there. Stay tuned I’m sure there will be more, I was so inspired. For my three cards I used  Digital collage sheets microscope slides (Vintage printable collage sheet). To design the first card I used a snowflake embossing folder from my collection and ran it through my Big Shot Machine. (This snowflake embossing folder is no longer available but I will link to a similar one)  I found some leftover v
