Love birds

A recent wedding card I made for a friend of mine. I really like the twine on this card and as you can see I'm really liking banners right now.

MFT Card Sketch 160

Howdy! Here is another card I did for the  My favourite things  challenge card.  I am very excited about this sketch.  I've never really done anything like this before.  I used some new colours together and I like how it turned out. Here is the sketch:  Here is my card:

MFT Color palette challenge # 1

Hello there! Here is another challenge from the    My Favorite Things Blog .  It's been so fun challenging myself and using sketches or themes that I wouldn't usually do.   I used the birthday princess pure innocence stamp from MFT. (It's the only one I have) The pink rhinestones are just ones I found at Dollarama.  The white and pink cardstock is from the Michael's recollections brand.  The Black is AC Cardstock from American Crafts.  The embossed Happy Birthday was done in my big shot with the Sixxiz Happy Birthday texture plate.   And of course I coloured in the image with my copic markers.

#bigthanks

This is a fun card I made. Yes that's a hashtag! I really think hashtags are over used especially in the Facebook world I feel there is no point if they don't link to anything but as you can see just for fun I created this hashtag card.

Happy birthday truck!

A birthday card I made for my dad for his birthday.

Warm wishes and ideas!

Alright, so this card I am very excited to share with you. This is 100% my image, yes I drew it, outlined it and colored it with my copic markers. Also added a little half pearl bling for their buttons.  To compliment the image I used some purple and green card stock, a snowflake embossing folder for the background image and the sentiment warm wishes  What do you think of this card and my drawing? It's my dream to make my own stamp line.  I have drawn a few more images and have an idea in mind for the name for the stamp line. Stay tuned for more cards with my images and I'd really like your feedback.

Let's go fly a kite

I've had these stamps for awhile but never got around to using them. I finally made a card with them. I don't usually like to put anything on the inside of the card. I like to leave it blank so others or myself can write their message inside.  But for this card I thought the sentiment "Kite flying lesson no strings attached was cute and worked great with the front of the card.

Birthday princess

Hello once again! I've been very inspired lately as you can see. This is a card I created with a My Favourite Things stamp. This is from their Pure Innocence stamp line and this one is called "birthday princess" I just love these images I'd love to create with more of them.

Warm wishes

Hello there! Here is another card I've created since getting my copic markers. I feel I've still got a lot to learn but I'm up for the challenge. This stamp is also from pink cat studio. I had this ribbon in my stash thankfully it fit the color of the girls outfit perfectly.

Baby cards

I recently got copic markers. I'm slowly adding colors to my collection. So I've pulled out some of my stamps I have and I've been experimenting with my copics and here are some cards I came up with.  All the stamps are from pink cat studio. I've also been inspired by twine lately as you can see on my previous post and in the card above.  I really like the banner look on these two cards. The "baby" banner is 1.50$ find at micheals from a long time ago. The "welcome" is a random stamp I got at home sense a few months back. Love it!

MTF Wednesday Card Sketch Challenge # 159

I've got a lot of things to upload to the blog soon. I've been very inspired lately and been looking for ways to challenge myself and keep myself active in my love for card making. I recently came across a website of products and inspiration called My Favourite things and on their blog they have challenges. So here is my first entry. I'm not sure if I've done it right but you got to start somewhere. My one card I made is for the  MFT Wednesday Card Sketch Challenge  #159.   I didn't follow the exact image or sketch but I kept the theme of a tag, a boarder and a ticket.  For the tag I used Sizzix tags, traditional combo # 2 die cut, Spellbinders Banner Basics one dies and for the stamp I used Pure Innocence "Birthday Princess" by My favourite  things (I only have one of these stamps but would love to get more, they are so cute)  I cut the ticket out myself and used a clear stamp for the word "celebrate" from my stash I have no idea w

Love

A wedding card, my first all velum card there is velum behind the cardstock and the word love has a velum window. This was a challenging card to make but it turned out pretty good.
