The Stamping Boutique Challenge "Graduation"

It's that time again where I share with you another challenge d  card for the Stamping Boutique. This week's challenge is Graduation.

I used TSB image AJ the graduate

I really love how this card turned out! I'm loving the chevron pattern I used on the card. Chevron patterns are very popular right now.  To create the chevron piece I used the Heidi Swapp stencil kit.  I used 'My Favorite Things' Hybrid ink "Blu Rasberry". I really love the color of this ink. I colored the image with my copic and spectrum noir markers.  The sentiment is from the Micheal's $1 bin. It's a bit blurry as it was hard to pick up the sentiment on camera since it's stamped on velum it says "Sending congrats your way" The base of the card is dark blue and to finish it off I put some blue half pearls.

Now it's your turn to participate.  Graduation season is upon us or coming up in June so get crafty with us and create a card or project for the loved ones in your life who are graduating this year.  We'd love to see what you can imagine and create.  You've even got a chance to win some great digital images from The Stamping Boutique all the information you need to know is at the challenge blog. So hop on by get the info, create and link up your card and project.

I am entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge and this week's challenge is "Stencil it"

Glitter N Sparkle Heat/dry embossing Challenge

I've  got a new card to share with you today using a Stamping Boutique image.  I'm entering this card in this week's Challenger over at Glitter N Sparkle. The challenge there is embossing heat/dry.

I used TSB image Beach Scene

So I used both heat and dry embossing for this card. The yellow sun rays are Tim Holtz alterations embossing folder. Then the sentiment is from Michael's and it is heat embossed. I coloured the image with copic markers and spectrum noir markers.

The Stamping Boutique New Release MAY

Happy Monday! To start off the week I've got three cards to share with you. The Stamping Boutique has three new images in the store and I got the chance to make some cards with them to show you some of the possibilities that you can create with this new images.

Spring is in the air and it's been so warm and sunny out where I live.  If this is any indication how warm it will be this summer we are in for some warm and nice weather. This new image is the perfect image for the beach lover or summer projects you have in mind.  Of course I colored the image with my copic markers and spectrum noir markers. Then I made a fishtale banner out of velum and stamped the "Aloha" sentiment and embossed it with clear embossing powder over the razzle berry ink. To finish off the card I used some red half pearls.

<  -------  All around the city
I colored this image with my spectrum noir and copic markers. Then I kept it simple with the rest of the card.  Just added a fishtale banner for the sentiment. The sentiment says "delight in the small things" (Sorry it's a bit blurry) The sentiment is embossed using snow embossing powder. To finish off the card I added some purple half pearls.

I think this is my favorite new image if I had to pick one.  It's so fun!  I colored the image with my copic markers and spectrum noir markers. I inked up the edge of the image with black ink to make it pop a bit. The sentiment "Celebrate" is embossed using snow embossing powder.  To finish off the card I added blue half pearls.

Be sure to stop on over the Stamping Boutique Challenge Blog and see more great cards using these new images. The rest of the design team also created some lovely cards.  Go be inspired the new release post is here, also if you love these images go grab them at the online store.

The Stamping Boutique Challenge "Use Dies or Punches"

One of these days I will get around to updating the blog with some more DIY projects and cards I've created. My time is more limited with a newborn in the house. When I do get time for crafty things it's either design team stuff, special occasions or trying to stay on time of project life.

Anyways it's that time again where I share with you another card for The Stamping Boutique.  This week's challenge is use die cuts/punches.

I used TSB image "Baby Boy on Beach"

I used Spellbinders circle dies, My Favorite Things Fishtale flag stax die-namics and the star is a punch I have. I colored the image with my copic and spectrum noir markers.  The sentiment says You are my sunshine and it's a $1.50 stamp from Micheal's. I really love how this card turned out.

So now it's your turn to play along with us over at the stamping boutique challenge blog. Break out those punches (maybe you never use them, maybe you used them lots) and get out those dies.  Then make a card or project and show us your creativity.  All the details you need to know are over at the Stamping Boutique Challenge blog.
