Craft Collabs Christmas in July Video Hop

Hello there I've got another Christmas card to share with you for my Christmas in July series.  This one is a collab with a bunch of other creative people from craft collab.  So definitely check out my video for some Christmas inspiration and hop along on the other videos for even more Christmas inspiration.

For my card today I used the stamp set by Newton's Nook called Sun soaked Christmas.  I love this stamp set, it's so fun Santa hanging out at the beach. This is perfect for Christmas in July.

I started of my creating my background using distress oxide inks and the Dollarama make up brush to blend it. I used fossilized amber and vintage photo for the sand and broken china distress oxide ink for the water.

Then I stamped the images from the Newton's Nook stamp set  in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with spectrum noir markers.  I used the colors DR5, EB2, CT4, BT7, JG6, IG6, CR10, TN7, LV2, IG10, CG1, IG4, JG6, EB8 and the colorless blender.  I stamped the palm trees directly on the distress oxide background I blended so I didn't have to fussy cut it out.  Then I just colored over it in the spectrum noir markers and I like how it turned out.

After I fussy cut the images I stamped I used the Xyron Sticker Maker to adhere the snowman to the card.  For the Santa image I used some circle pop dots to adhere him and add some dimension too.

Then it was time to stamp the sentiment. I stamped it in memento tuxedo black  ink and I stamped "Gone to the Beach! love, Santa" from the Newton's Nook stamp set.

To finish off the card I used the sakura white gel pen to add highlights to the images. I also used morning dew nuvo drops to add some glossy parts to to different areas on the stamped images.
