Hello there, today I start my Christmas in July series over on my YouTube channel. There will be 4 videos in total in this series.
Today’s card is a super simple one. My friend Diane send me this Trader Joes candy cane green tea packaging. I know I needed to turn it into a card.
I simply cut down a cardbase. Cut a few lines off the green packaging and trimmed down the cardboard where the image with the polar bear was. Then I grabbed out the scotch advanced tape glider to adhere the two stripes and the bigger picture onto the cardbase leaving room between. Then to finish off the card I used Autumn red crystal nuvo drops to add a raised effect to the card. This also allowed me to bring the red from the packaging out a bit more.
You could definitely add a Christmas sentiment to the front or inside of this card but I personally wanted this Recycled piece to shine.
Thanks so much for coming by today stay tuned for more projects all summer long.
