Easy Spinner Card

Hello There! I've got a fun interactive card to share with you today. It's a spinner card.  To see just how easy it is and how I did it check out the video over on my YouTube channel. I've always wanted to make a spinner card but they always seemed so complicated to me but I recently watched a video by my friend Lynnea Hollendonner and she made it look so easy. So I finally tried making a spinner card. Lynnea’s Spinner card that inspired this card: https://youtu.be/SJRHa93YNCw To start I used a spellbinders circle die with my big shot machine and cut a circle in the front of my card base.  Then I was ready to work on my card front. I used a stamp set by Beth Duff Designs "Better together" which is no longer available.   Though of course I wanted to use this super cute stamp set and I had a birthday card with this set in mind for awhile. I stamped some of the images from this set in Simon Says Stamp clear embossing ink and used Simon Says Stamp whi

MFT Phone Call Away/ Distress oxide ink & stencils

Hey there! Today I’ve got a new card to share with you and of course there is a video on my YouTube channel so you can see my process. For today’s card I used “My Favorite Things” Pure Innocence Phone Call Away stamp.  I stamped the girl in memento tuxedo black ink and colored it in with Spectrum Noir markers.  I used BT7, BT5, TB6, TB3,EB2 & True Black. For the hair I used black pencil crayon. I used a Sakura white gelly roll pen to add some details to the image.   I cut down a card base from Micheal’s Recollections card stock. Then I was ready to do the background which I did directly on the card base.  I used cracked pistachio distress oxide ink for the for the wall and vintage photo distress oxide ink for the floor on the background. To blend these colors onto my card base I used a Dollarama “Lisa” make up brush.  Then I grabbed stencil from my collection and used broken China distress oxide ink with the stencil to create some wall paper. Then I used a black pen and

Recycle with me #6 Hot Chocolate package using Honey Bee Stamps

Hello there, I’m back.  It’s been just over a week since I shared last that’s because it’s been a little busy in life. Plus I’ve been creating, filming and editing a lot so I can get ahead and bring you new creations faster. Today I’ve got three cards to share with you and of course there is a video over on my YouTube channel. Today’s cards are apart of my Recycle with me card series over on my YouTube channel.  It’s the 6th video in the series so be sure to check them all out if you’re interested.   So for today’s recycle with me cards I’m using a Nestle coffee crisp hot chocolate package.  I loved the bright yellow on the packaging.  I wanted to create some hot chocolate themed cards because not everyone likes coffee. Shocking I know!!! Even the coffee lover enjoys a hot chocolate time to time.   I started off by cutting apart the packaging and picking some pieces from it that I wanted to use on my cards.   For the first card I used the front part of the packag

Dollarama Make up brush & Distress inks Review

Happy Monday! I've got something different for you today.  I have a video on my YouTube channel using the "Lisa" make up brush from Dollarama. It only comes in a small size as far as I could see and was $3. Dollarama is a Canadian dollar store.   There are alot of similar brushes that have been been becoming popular in the crafting world.  When I saw this one that was exactly the same as some of the ones being reviewed at this price point, I really wanted to try it out as I had not taken the plunge into the make up brush and blending trend yet. The video will explain it best. I feel like I could of said more on the video too. Though I did not want to be repetitive either. So take a watch and see for yourself the results. I also do a quick comparison between the make up brush and the normal ink blending tools and foam blending circles. These brushes are definetly worth it. I felt like I had so much more control. It felt more comfortable in my hands as well. I also fo
