Happy Birthday Garden themed

Spring is in the air and where I live it seems to have come early. So much sunshine and nice warm weather the last few days and if it hasn't been nice and warm the spring showers have totally been there too. Anyways I have a spring inspired card to share with you today.

This card I recently made for my brother who celebrated his birthday on March 10th. He wants to start a garden in his backyard so I thought this would be a great image to use for a spring themed birthday card.

I used the House Mouse Designs stamp from 1998 entitled "Carott Harvest". I colored the image with my Spectrum Noir markers and a few Copic markers here and there. The Happy Birthday stamp is a stamp from the dollar bin at Micheal's and behind that I used twine to create a cool and unique look behind the birthday greeting.

Get Kids Crafty May Blog Hop Gardening theme

It's that time of month again where I share a fun crafty project that I made with my kiddo Riley for Get Kids Crafty. Hello and thank you for joining us for the May Get Kids Crafty! blog hop! We are thrilled to have you! Our theme this month is gardening and our kids have created some AMAZING projects to share with you! We had a lot of fun creating our project this month. We made a bumble bee mobile. Both my kids love the song bringing home my baby bumble bee. Especially my youngest Liam, it seems to usually calm him down when he's upset. So we created this fun project to the theme of the song. First we had to die cut our bees, Here is Riley playing with an already cut bee in the Big Shot machine.
