Hi there, thanks for stopping by today. Today I've got a fun Birthday card to share with you.
I made this recently for a friend in Norway. The viking is from the My Favorite Things Viking stamp set. I stamped the viking in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then I colored it with Spectrum Noir Markers. I used CR10, CR11, CT4, BT2, BT4, BT9, TN7, BG8, IG6, IG8, TN2 and JG6.
The sentiment is also stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The Hip hip hooray it's your birthday sentiment is from Clearly Besotted stamp set called "Hip Hop Hooray" and the Have a Norse day sentiment is from the My Favorite Things viking stamp set. For the background I used my Big shot machine and the Retro Circles embossing folder by Tim Holtz Alterations. (Not sure if the Tim Holtz embossing folder is still available, I have linked to a similar one by Kaisercraft) I dabbed Memento Tuxedo Black ink on the edges of the embossed background to make it pop.
To adhere everything I used the scotch Advanced Tape Glider and the viking is popped up using scotch mounting tape. Lastly I added some half pearls to finish off the card.
Thank you for coming by, have a Norse day!
