Hello, it's Thursday! Is it just me or is this week flying by. I've been trying to keep track of more things in my planner this week so I can get more done and get more blog posts up here for you. I'm doing it too it's keeping me on track, just a day or two behind. I've been making a ton though and I still have previous cards and projects to share too.
But, anyways today I've got this super cute baby card to share. My friend recently had her 2nd baby and she had a girl! (See previous post for the card I gave this Big Brother of the newest arrival)
I used two lawn fawn stamp set to create this card. The super cute horse is from Lawn Fawn's stamp set Pa-rum-pa-pum- pum which is retired and sold out at Lawn Fawn but I manged to find it at Stamp n Scrap a canadian online store. Then the sentiment is from Lawn Fawn's stamp set Little Bundle.
I stamped the image and sentiment in Memento tuxedo black ink. Then I colored the image using a mixture of Spectrum Noir markers and Copic markers. I used TN7 and TN8 for the hair (Spectrum Noir) for the pony I used BG4 and IG6 (Spectrum Noir) and for the saddle and other parts I used V17 Amethyst and V04 Lilac (Copic markers) To finish off the image I used Sakura White Jelly Roll pen to add some highlights.
The circle was cut using Spellbinders nestabilities Standard circles Large dies in my Big Shot machine. Then I used the V17 Amethyst copic marker again and just colored around the edges of the circle to make it stand out a little more.
The scrapbook paper and ribbon I had in my collection. I have a lot of scrapbook paper and ribbon I've collected over the years. I have a big ribbon stash too as my grandma gifted me all her ribbon when she stopped sewing. Therefore I should use more scrapbook paper and ribbon in my cards and projects.
To adhere everything together I used my Scotch Advanced Tape Glider and Xryon X sticker maker. The rocking horse is popped up using Scotch foam mounting tape. Last but not least I added the purple half pearls under the sentiment. I got them at the dollar store.
