Hello and welcome back to my blog. It's been way to long since I posted on here. I have a lot of cards to share to be quite honest I just have not had the time to blog them all. We recently moved and as you know moving is a lot of work. Packing, cleaning, unpacking and all the tasks in between. But here I am hoping to get back into the swing of things again. Things are settling down once again and I am going to carve out some time in my day to get the recent projects I've made to you. Then hopefully I can create new projects to share with you very soon.
Thank you for stopping by today. Keep coming back as I catch up and share lots of fun projects. You have yourself a Norse day now!
Ok, enough of my life here is a card I made recently using My Favorite Things BB-54 Viking Stamp set. To color in the image I used Spectrum Noir markers
Red: DR3
Greens: CG1, DG2, DG3
Beard:TN7
Brown: GB10
Colorless Blender
Greys: IG4, IG10
Shield: BT5
Face & hands: E21 Soft sun (copic)
The image was stamped in Momento Tuxedo Black ink.
For the sentiment I used Clearly besotted Hip Hop Hoorary stamp set and the MFT BB-54 Viking set again. I used Simon Says Stamp Clear embossing ink and then used Simon Says Stamp White embossing powder over that on the black card stock and heat set it with my Marvey Heat tool. Before during this I used the anti stactic tool so that the powder only went where I wanted it to.
For the background layer I used some camo paper I had in my collection. I used the My Favorite Things Rectangle STAX set 1 Die-namics. For this I used my Big Shot Machine by Sizzix. Then last but not least I distressed the edges of the camo paper and the card base with Vintage Photo distress ink. To put all the card together I used the Advanced Tape Glider.
Thank you for stopping by today. Keep coming back as I catch up and share lots of fun projects. You have yourself a Norse day now!
