The Stamping Boutique/Red, White & Blue challenge

Hello Hello It's friday again and it's my time to share with you another challenge from The Stamping Boutique.  This week's theme is make a red, white and blue themed card.

I used the image Cardinal from the stamping boutique and coloured it with my copic markers.

For the red and blue background, I used a spray art gun to get an airbrush effect.  It's a kids air brush and it only came with three colours and I'm having a hard time tracking down more colours. It was really cheap and I thought hey let's try this so perhaps I'll use it just till it runs out.  I love the airbrush look but don't want to pay tons for it.

The Sentiment "Don't let life ruffle your feathers" is from my stash I'm not sure what company it's from.  I got them a long time ago and at that time I didn't keep track of the company and the original packaging is gone.

To finish of the card I grabbed some red, white and blue sequins and tada you have a finished card.

Now it's your turn to create along side us.  Follow along with this week's theme and hop on over to the Stamping Boutique challenge blog and link up your creation for your chance to win some digital images. All the details are listed on the blog post. Also check out inspiration on the theme from the other members of the design team. Happy creating and posting.

I will be entering this card in the "Anything goes" challenge over at the Simon says Stamps Wednesday challenge.
