MFT Wednesday Sketch Club Card Sketch 162

Here is another card sketch from "My Favourite Things". Sadly I didn't make last week's but I did it this week and I'm happy about that. I had this idea for this sketch rolling around in my head for days now so I'm glad I was able to make this sketch in time for the deadline.

Here is the sketch:

Here is my card:

I've had a bunch of these orange flowers for a long time and I've never used them. So it's about time they get used.  They are from Heidi swapp.  Then I used the MFT Pure innocence stamp "Happy Birthday Princess" stamp. (As stated before it's so only MFT stamp I have)  On this card I didn't use the whole image as it wouldn't of fit with the look I was going for but just used the head and a bit of her dress. I like how it turned out.  I coloured it with my copics and used a new white pen I just got at the $ Dollar store to do the white dots on her dress. It's a permanent white metallic marker.   The Card stock plain white and sparkly pearl white is from Micheal's, also Orange from Micheal's and the black AC card stock by American crafts which I picked up at Homesense for cheap.  The vellum is from Micheal's as well.  The stamp "Bloom" is a Micheal's Studio G $1.50 stamp. I am really happy with how this card turned out!

Get Kids Crafty May Blog Hop Gardening theme

It's that time of month again where I share a fun crafty project that I made with my kiddo Riley for Get Kids Crafty. Hello and thank you for joining us for the May Get Kids Crafty! blog hop! We are thrilled to have you! Our theme this month is gardening and our kids have created some AMAZING projects to share with you! We had a lot of fun creating our project this month. We made a bumble bee mobile.  Both my kids love the song bringing home my baby bumble bee. Especially my youngest Liam, it seems to usually calm him down when he's upset.  So we created this fun project to the theme of the song.      First we had to die cut our bees, Here is Riley playing with an already cut bee in the Big Shot machine.      Here is Riley turning the handle on the Big Shot machine to cut out all our bees. We had to do 16 in total one for the front and back as you will see in a little bit. Here is what the finished bee looks like and the die cut that we used from
