Encouragement Card Hop- Celebrating all Crafters -Lawn Fawn Summer Concert

Hello there today I'm apart of a encouragement card hop.  The Encouragement Card Hop is different than the typical hop.  It is not a blog hop, or video hop, it’s a card hop.   This is a hop organized to include all crafters.   There are three ways to to find inspiration along the way: YouTube videos, blog posts,  and a future YouTube video sharing cards that were mailed in just for the hop.

I'm participating in a YouTube video.

I started off stamping the stump from Lawn Fawn's forest feast stamp set in vintage photo distress ink.   I colored the stump in with a brown pencil crayon to add some color.  Then I also stamped the stump on some Inkadinkadoo masking paper and cut out the mask. Then I put the mask over the stump and I was able to create m background.

I used broken china distress oxide ink for the sky. I used a Dollarama make up brush to blend the ink onto the card base.  For the grass I used Mowed Lawn distress ink.    After I'd blended the background I took off the mask.

Then I was ready to stamp all the animals for my summer concert scene.  I used critter concert, forest feast and toboggan together for the various animals.   I stamped them in memento tuxedo black ink.

I then colored them in spectrum noir markers. I used CR10, OR1, CT4, TN8, FS3, PP5, BG6, BG8.

After all the animals were colored I used the Xyron sticker maker to adhere them to the card and create my summer scene.

Lastly I used critter concert for the sentiment and stamped the sentiment "A little note to say...Hope you have an awesome day!" in memento tuxedo luxe black. I also stamped the music notes in the same ink.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you were encouraged and I hope you have a awesome day.  Be sure to head over to my YouTube video to hop along for more inspiration and encouragement.

Get Kids Crafty May Blog Hop Gardening theme

It's that time of month again where I share a fun crafty project that I made with my kiddo Riley for Get Kids Crafty. Hello and thank you for joining us for the May Get Kids Crafty! blog hop! We are thrilled to have you! Our theme this month is gardening and our kids have created some AMAZING projects to share with you! We had a lot of fun creating our project this month. We made a bumble bee mobile.  Both my kids love the song bringing home my baby bumble bee. Especially my youngest Liam, it seems to usually calm him down when he's upset.  So we created this fun project to the theme of the song.      First we had to die cut our bees, Here is Riley playing with an already cut bee in the Big Shot machine.      Here is Riley turning the handle on the Big Shot machine to cut out all our bees. We had to do 16 in total one for the front and back as you will see in a little bit. Here is what the finished bee looks like and the die cut that we used from
