I am very excited to share with you these cards I made. This was the design that I decided to mass produce for the Christmas season to give to my family. I made about 20 of these cards.
As you can see it was a lot of work as the tree, snowflakes and reindeer on the embossed background are hand coloured. The red area is sponged on ink which too was also very time consuming and the sparkly bigger snowflake I used silver stickles. The embossed background is from the Tim Holtz Sizzix Alterations "Knit Set"and I really love these embossing folders.
All in all I think it was very worth it to make the cards, I love how they turned out and even though it was a lot of work it was quite fun colouring all the details in. I actually coloured them over a few days as my husband and I watched TV together and whenever else I could fit in crafting time.
Again the Merry Christmas sentiment is from the Michael's $1.50 Stamp bin and it's stamped on vellum. To finish off the card I added some small red half pearls.

As you can see I used two different colours of card stock as the main panel on the card. I used two different tones of grey/white.
