Happy Birthday/Gratulerer

Hi Hi today I'm sharing with you a cute birthday card that I made for my mom. I really love how this card came together and how it really has a Scandinavian look and feel to it. The stamp is from My Favourite Things Pure Innocence stamps. This is the "Birthday Princess" stamp. I coloured the girl with copics and her dress is paper pierced with some scrapbooking paper.

For the background I used the Sizzix Nordic Sweater embossing folder. I then sponged it with red and gold ink and I love how it turned out. The Gratulerer circle stamp is from Panduro Hobby. "Gratulerer" means congratulations in Norwegian. Then it was embossed with some recollections red embossing powder.

To finish off the card I added I added the red and white baker's twine and adhered it to red cardstock for the card base.
