This card was suppose to be uploaded to MFT's Wednesday Card sketch 166, but I missed the upload.
I really love how this card turned out. This card is for my Mother in Laws birthday which is coming up on the 16th of March. Since her birthday always falls the day before St. Patrick's Day she always incorporates her birthday parties with that day and does the whole green thing. So I wanted to capture that in a card for her. I was throwing a few ideas around and then I thought hey, let's use the sketch for this week from MFT, and let me tell you it turned out better than I could imagine.
The supplies I used were as follows, The embossing folder is by Cuttlebug (Pravocraft) not sure what it's called. But I thought it matched the theme so well. The paper is from Michael's. I made the circle with my spellbinders nestabilities Standard Circles Large dies. The Stamp is of course a MFT Pure Innocence stamp called "Birthday Princess" and I coloured the image with my copic markers. Also the four leaf clover is from a friskars punch.
My card (inside):
On the inside of the card I put the scrap paper that I'd used to punch out the four leaf clovers. I thought it looked really cool. I also liked the idea of not wasting and making the most out of it. I then stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the MFT Pure Innocence "Birthday Princess" Stamp set and then embossed it with my clear embossing powder from Stampendous. Then I finished it off with two half pearls from Forever in Time scrapbook collection, from the Holiday Trendz Rhinestone Medley set.
