Cards For Haiti!

As you know, a massive 7.0-magnitude earthquake has struck the Caribbean nation of Haiti. They need all the help they can get as their nation is in ruins. Lots of people have been killed and many others injured. Recently, at the Girls Club at my church in which I am a leader had a card-making night. One of the girls in the club has a former teacher she still keeps in touch with who has a daughter in Haiti. The daughter is save and sound. Praise the Lord! So this young girl in the club had an idea to get the other girls to make cards for the people of Haiti. Then we will mail them over to the friend there and she can translate them and give them out to the people there. This is a way of showing our love and support. A way of encouraging them in their time of need in a different way.

These are the cards I have made. I made 10 of them! My heart goes out to the nation of Haiti and I wanted to get involved somehow and I'm so glad I could use my gift of making cards to help out in a simple way.
