Recycle with me #17 Frozen Raspberry Package

Hello there it's been awhile since I shared a card or two with you.  I've been enjoying summer with my family and things just kept coming up in the last month that kept me from posting. I was still creating though and I've got lots to share with you soon. I've also got lots of ideas for cards and projects so stay tuned. Today I've got two very simple cards to share with you. They a part of my Recycle with me Series over on my YouTube channel.   For Today's recycle with me cards I used a frozen raspberry package.   I was able to create two cards with the picture of the berries on the packaging. I first started by cutting out the raspberries on the packaging to use on my card.  Then I grabbed a white card base that I had previously cut from Micheal's Recollections card stock.  At this point I was ready to adhere the berries to my card base. To do that I used the Scotch Advanced Tape Glider to adhere the berries to the card.  Next came the sentiment I use

Recycle with me #16 Dollar Tree Summer Tags

Hello there, today I've got 3 card to share with you today. They are part of my Recycle with me series over on my YouTube channel.  For Today's cards I recycled product tags from some Dollar Tree items I bought over the summer. For the first card I used a super cute Toucan tag from a decor sign I bought from Dollar tree to decorate for summer.  To make the card I used a white card stock for the base.  I added some blue twine to the tag in a loop.  I used some thin blue washi tape from Dollar tree and added into a boarder around my sentiment.   For the sentiment I used a wood mounted stamp from Micheal's that says "Toucan have my heart".  I stamped it in My Favorite Things after midnight hybrid ink.   At this point I also cut out some hearts from some left over Valentine's day cards to add to my card.  A bonus recycled material.   After stamping the sentiment and the toucan from the stamp I used my spectrum noir markers to add a bit of color to the bird. I

Encouragement Card Hop- Celebrating all Crafters -Lawn Fawn Summer Concert

Hello there today I'm apart of a encouragement card hop.  The Encouragement Card Hop is different than the typical hop.  It is not a blog hop, or video hop, it’s a card hop.   This is a hop organized to include all crafters.   There are three ways to to find inspiration along the way: YouTube videos, blog posts,  and a future YouTube video sharing cards that were mailed in just for the hop. I'm participating in a YouTube video. I started off stamping the stump from Lawn Fawn's forest feast stamp set in vintage photo distress ink.   I colored the stump in with a brown pencil crayon to add some color.  Then I also stamped the stump on some Inkadinkadoo masking paper and cut out the mask. Then I put the mask over the stump and I was able to create m background. I used broken china distress oxide ink for the sky. I used a Dollarama make up brush to blend the ink onto the card base.  For the grass I used Mowed Lawn distress ink.    After I'd blended the background I
