Happy 2nd B-day Thomas the tank engine

Our friend's son just turned two and he loves Thomas the tank engine. So I just had to create a Thomas Birthday card for him. I couldn't be happier with how this card turned out. I found this perfect image of Thomas on the internet and printed it out and popped it up on some foam tape. I added some die cut balloons with twine. The blue background is some scraps of wrapping paper I had around from a recent baby shower. It reminded me of train tracks! I added the white thicker #2 on the train to represent the kid turning 2. As you can see I stamped the sentiment on the side "Happy, Happy Birthday" and inked up the sides of the card to match the wrapping paper and finish off the card.  The little guy loved the card, when he saw it he yelled Thomas and looked at it a bit! This made me very happy! I'm entering this card into the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge. This week's challenge is "Anything Goes"

The Stamping Boutique Challenge "Summer Fun"

It's that time once again I'm sharing a card and challenge with you for the Stamping Boutique. So the first challenge of June is Summer Fun. I used TSB image: Audrey at the Windmill I colored the image with my copic and spectrum noir markers.  The sides are polka dotted fabric tape. I love the look of that and how it pops off the card and really compliments Audrey in her purple dress and just finished off the card and ties it all together.  The sentiment is set on vellum and it says Happy Happy Birthday.  It's from the My favorite things pure innocence set Happy Banner.  Now it's your turn to participate in the summer fun and create a great summer card with us. Head on over to the challenge blog find all the details there and link up your creations.
