Hello there it's been just over a week now since I last posted.  This past week has been pretty busy, I've been crafting but haven't had time to take pictures and post here on the blog.   So I do have some more new things to share with you all soon.  I also started project life scrapbooking this past week too. I am very excited about that. For now it will just be for smaller events in life that I don't want a whole album for but want to remember. Maybe in the future I will use it for a weekly memory holder like it is made for. But anyways onto what this post is really about. I am again playing along with this week's "My Favourite Things" Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch The Sketch: My card:  The image is from Whimsy & Stars Studio  and it's called "Dancing Love" .

oh what fun!

Hello, this is the last card I have to share with you tonight. I made this card awhile ago just didn't get it up on the blog till now.  It's using the "Winter Lily" rubber stamp from Pink Cat Studio.

Viking Princess!

Hi Hi I'm so excited to share this card with you.  This is a baby card I recently made for some friends of ours who recently had a baby girl.  The baby's dad is from Iceland and when they found out they were having a baby he said once they were having a viking princess. I thought that was a super cute idea for a card and especially very unique for them.  I really like how it turned out.  I used the Divine Swirls embossing folder to create a look of wind on the seas as a Viking Ship would sail on the open seas.  I then die cut the viking ship using the QuicKutz Lifestyle Crafts Country Norway set (It's Retired).  Then added a bit of sparkle and pink half pearls to the ship.  I also stamped the word princess on the ship.  The baby banner is a $1.50 stamp from Michael's.  I know viking ships were more manly and I'm sure they were never pink. But if there ever was a Viking Princess and she had her own ship perhaps it would of looked like this.  All in All

Congratulations, Twins!

Hello There, Here is a baby card for a friend of ours who recently had twin girls.   The background is embossed (It's a cuttlebug embossing folder, can't find the name of it) Since they were having twins I coloured two of each piece of clothing with my copic markers.  I then took a scrap of vellum and stamped the congratulation on it and used some clear embossing powder on it to give it a bit of texture. To finish off the card I used to pink half pearls and some pink baker's twine and tied it in a bow.  Then for the inside I took my "It's a Girl" stamp and used pink ink and stamped it twice and used clear embossing powder and heat set it to give it a nice finish.

Life is Great/Bike ride

Hello Hello I've got another card to share with you tonight.   I've been making tons of cards lately and I'm finally catching up on blog posts.   Also been organizing my craft space and making it for functional.  I'm really loving the new storage and set up of the room.  Now things are easier to see and more accessible.  This card is using another "Billy" rubber stamp from Pink Cat Studio.  It's coloured with my copic makers.  The embossed background is by Sizzix it's called "Retro Circles" and it's by Tim Holtz.  The Life is Great stamp is from the Michael's $1.50 stamp bin.  This card would be so great for a guy which is great. As a crafter I find it hard sometimes to make projects for the men and boys.  Though this card totally works.

Snowboarding fun!

Hello There, I'm finally posting this card. It seems a bit odd perhaps to be posting this in spring time when the weather is getting warmer and summer is fast approaching.  I do know it's snowing somewhere and there is some snowboards out there that would love to receive this card anytime of the year.  This is one of the "Billy" rubber stamps from Pink Cat Studio.  I've had this stamp and a bunch of other ones for awhile.  Most of the stamps at Pink Cat Studio are now digital stamps.

Happy Birthday/Gratulerer

Hi Hi today I'm sharing with you a cute birthday card that I made for my mom. I really love how this card came together and how it really has a Scandinavian look and feel to it.   The stamp is from My Favourite Things Pure Innocence stamps. This is the "Birthday Princess" stamp.  I coloured the girl with copics and her dress is paper pierced with some scrapbooking paper. For the background I used the Sizzix Nordic Sweater embossing folder. I then sponged it with red and gold ink and I love how it turned out.  The Gratulerer circle stamp is from Panduro Hobby.  "Gratulerer" means congratulations in Norwegian.  Then it was embossed with some recollections red embossing powder. To finish off the card I added I added the red and white baker's twine and adhered it to red cardstock for the card base.

You too have a chance to enter your wobble cards for a chance to win some digital stamps... all the details and how to enter your creations is here at The Stamping Boutique Challenge Blog.  So now for my card, I used the TSB digital stamp of   "Max"   Wobble in action with just a photo.  Also see a short video of the action wobble really in motion below.  Now it's your turn hop on over to The Stamping Boutique Challenge blog and joi

Mother's Day shaker cards!!!

Here are two more Mother's Day cards in different colours.  Also they are shaker cards too with sequins inside.  These one has some decorative tape around the shaker.  This one has duct tape around the shaker.  I really like the look of the green and silver together. The duct tape adds a whole lot to the card.

Happy 1st Anniversary!

I recently celebrate my first wedding anniversary and this is the card I made for my husband to celebrate the occasion.    I still have a bunch of papers with the colours of our wedding left over so I was able to use that with this card which is good.

MFT Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch 174

Hello There, I'm once again playing along with this week's MFT "My Favourite Things" Wednesday sketch.  I'm really excited about this card as it's a shaker card. I've been seeing shaker cards pop up so much lately and I've tried to make them before but seeing them on various platforms in the crafting world I have learned some new ways to create shaker cards and wanted to try out some techniques I've seen lately. I definitely want to create more shaker cards in the future so be on the look out for that. The Sketch: My card: Here is a little video of the shaker card in action Other challenges I am entering this card: Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge "Anything Goes with Sequins"
